Went there for my moms birthday with a few friends, waiter was rude and rushing us the whole time, not once did we get a smile. Food was inconsistent some people’s were great and some were not worth the money. After we were done the waiter kept rushing us. My mom wanted to see their desserts and he was very rude and kept lingering right behind her, we said she was still looking and he stayed behind her putting pressure. And all of this while theres people drinking at the bar. The place looks super cool and has cool vibes, but the service we got ruined it. We felt so rushed and pushed to leave so thats what we did and went to have dessert somewhere else. Come to find out a 20% tip was included because the 14 people party. So good service didn’t matter because the tip was guaranteed. Might go there in the future but was very disappointed on my mothers birthday.

The Meatball Special Chef Daniel ran last week was literally right out of a Sysco bag. Also fired the chef at Fat hen for having a mental disability. Boycott both of his restaurants if you care about chefs mental health at all.

Went on a quiet Sunday evening and was impressed by the taste and quality of the food. Impressive wine list featuring Mexican wine and fabulous cocktails. The guacamole is my absolute favorite but the esquites corn is not to be missed! Also loved the steak, grilled scallions, and potatoes! Shout out to the friendly and attentive staff!

*THEY DOUBLE SEAT*Food was very good. Got the wings as an app which were delicious! The steak and sides were phenomenal. Sweet potato was great! Wine options were just ok.One thing that really bothered me is they don't tell you prior to reservations (or mention anywhere on their website) that they double seat.. I really hate that practice, especially for dinner and to do it on Valentine's Day without telling everyone prior is absurd. You really need to make customers aware of this prior going forward and frankly, get rid of the practice as a whole. Also, service was a mess. Staff brought us 3 different tables food by accident. There was one girl behind the bar that was being so rude to her peers. I had to flag staff down for more water/drinks, napkins, utensils, etc.

I went last week, had some drinks at the bar and I really liked it. The environment is nice and the service was good.

The food was delicious and the server was very nice and accommodating. My only real complaint is that each dish was pretty expensive. For example, one empanada that was a normal size with a poached egg on top was $18. That was one of the more expensive items, but still

La Brasa is one of my favorite restaurants in Greater Boston! It's fancy enough for a multi-course date night, but also fun and casual enough to just drop in for a drink with a friend. You can linger over a bottle of wine, ceviche, and steak. Or just pop in for a beer and split some (house-made) chips and guacamole or a dozen oysters (late night oyster happy hour!).They mix up the menu, so there's always something new to try. Some of the best things on the menu are creative takes on Mexican dishes: the mushroom tamal, Mexican fried rice, and elote salad. They also low-key have one of the best burgers around! You can also get married there!? I went to a super fun wedding at La Brasa last year: dancing, margaritas, flan and tres leches getting passed around! It was a night to remember!

Tables next to us were greeted with an ask of still water or sparkling. We were greeted immediately with tap water.Service was unusual, rude and just plain awful. We were ordering quite a lot for two persons only to be treated as we were ordering nothing. We kept a menu to keep ordering but decided to cut it off when we realized how differently we were being treated. It was awfully unusual as we were dressed normal and had no issues with the server. We just could tell she did not think we had money. Very much so a shame and it was just downright unusual. Insulting. We were there only 45 minutes with a 220+ check for 2.Will take our money elsewhere.

Beautiful atmosphere. It’s a shame the food and service didn’t match up. It took way too long for the server to take our drink order considering we were the only table. She continued to be lackluster. The shiitake mushroom crepe, flautas and arancini were overcooked. The highlights of the meal were the shrimp pupusa and Mexican street corn. Both delicious.

Wonderful! Our party of four tried a variety from the menu. Loved the Caesar salad, deviled eggs, wings and muscles. Steak was cooked perfectly. Chicken was an interesting curry sauce with a little heat. Fresh and flavorful guac. Fun drink menu. Our server, Alyssa, was great. Highly recommend!

Sunday the 14th. Had reservations, we were sat right away. The waitress was very nice and efficient. The drinks were great, enjoyed by all. Sat at the window area with views of the street. Would be nice if they cleaned the area outside, as there was a alot of debris on the sidewalk to stare at, not appealing. Ordered the muscles and oysters both fabulous. Ordered the fish, served with skin ontop, had some difficulty separating the meat of the fish from the skin. The fish tasted fresh but needed more flavor. Steamed vegetables were placed ontop of the skin My husband had the chicken wings which he liked and my frineds had the hamburger and the chicken dish which were also well liked. Ended with the chocolate cake with cream, liked by everyone. Will definately return but may not order the Fish dish as it was under flavor a bit.

Not at all what we expected. I would call it Mexican-themed but many dishes were not particularly Mexican. Many of the dishes were very good. Great service. It's in a bad part of town and the music is heavy rock. If it were nearby, I would go back for casual fare. Not worth the trip.

Nachos, brussels sprouts, and flautas were all tasty. The salmon tostada was off putting. Drinks were okay. We came here for Christmas Eve dinner, so it was probably not an A+ night for staff either. Service was slow and lackadaisical. The decor and finishes were beautiful and warm. All in all, I probably wouldn't return.
