Takes forever to get your food here, not enough seating, not very comfortable, people stay forever on laptops making it hard to find a place to sit while u wait forever to or your food. I had to go up and ask for my coffee.

The place has a unique atmosphere but the food is overpriced. We stopped for a Valentines lunch and we didn't enjoy our meals. Moreover, it was hard to find a place because most tables were occupied by people with laptops not eating.

I love Life Alive, but the Davis Square location has been a disappointment. I waited to post a review because it was a newer location and I know it takes time to train up staff and get everything up to speed. However, at this point, this location should be serving better quality food than I've experienced.I've never had so many consistency issues at other Life Alive locations, but from this location I've had undercooked rice (anywhere from hard to actual uncooked grains in the bowl), under-blended smoothies (I'm talking 1-inch frozen cubes of pineapple), and even one time a bit of plastic mixed into my bowl. When there aren't any issues with the food, it's delicious, as with all of the other Life Alives we've been to, and the team and management are helpful in fixing the mistakes, but we're now resigned to something being wrong with 1 in every 3 orders we place, whether it's dine-in or takeout. It just feels like a complete gamble to order from here, especially if you're doing takeout where you won't find out what's wrong until it's too late to fix.I love Life Alive and I'm not sure what's going on with this specific location - after moving away from the Central Square location, which we used to grab lunch from every other week, I was so excited to have a new branch open up nearby. However, after giving this Life Alive location chance after chance, I think it's time we start making the trek to Harvard or Central if we want some Life Alive.

The seating goes fast. This place doubles as a good eatery and a place where people hang out just to do their studies or work. The menu will please you whether you're vegetarian or not. The meals are priced fairly - I would not say the same for the smoothies, but they do taste good. Outdoor seating in the summer.

I love this place with all my heart. It's the place I go to for a sense of peace and to get in touch with myself. It has warm colours everywhere, from the interior to the food itself. I feel healthy and good when I eat here because the food is truly organic. I also love their coffee cups.

I’ve been a regular at the Davis Sq location since they opened, coming on average 3 times a week because I love the drinks and the ambience.Today, there was a service-related incident, which make me not want to return again. I ordered miso tofu ramen and realized there’s no tofu when I got my bowl of ramen, so I approached one of the floor staff near the kitchen counter to ask. She smiled, was nice and said something in Spanish to a woman working in the kitchen, who then, I kid you not, glared at me before rolling her big eyes and turned away.I don’t think anyone should be treated like this and I do think customers have a right to ask for what they paid for. Stay away from the woman with brown hair, big eyes that are amazingly close together, always wearing a red or champagne-colored bandana.

Food: WOW. The Autumn Falafel and butternut spice latte was DELICIOUS! No complaints here, I finished everything, feeling super content, knowing I will be satisfied for the rest of the day. :) Service: Food was fast, the workers were able to help me on which menu items were the most popular but tbh they could've smiled a little more haha, it was a beautiful day at the restaurant. Ambiance: I love this location. Davis Square is such a fun area, and the restaurant has tons of natural light, they maintain it well.

It is simply the best to be able to place an online order while on the redline and walk by 15 minutes later to pick up a hot, healthy, flavorful bowl to eat onsite or at home. The ambiance of this location is always bustling but cozy and welcoming. I've never had a bad bowl at this location.

I’m sitting here right now too full to move. It’s not an exaggeration that every bite was delicious. I’ve been here a handful of times and the entrees are always phenomenal! They actually made me like carrots! (Pictured is a seasonal falafel bowl)The drinks are hit or miss - the iced strawberry refresher I got in the summer wasn’t quite worth the price point - but again, great food and service.Vegetarian options: All vegetarian and largely vegan menu.

Life Alive is a bit hit or a big miss for me. I’ve had some great salads here; and I think I’ll stick to those. I unfortunately tried their Nori Wrap which was a mistake. The nori was soggy and really hard to chew through. (Not crisp). The brown rice was hard and not cooked thoroughly. It was also not sticky brown rice so the inside of the wrap just fell out. It was a thoroughly disgusting meal and I’m glad I didn’t try it first because otherwise I wouldn’t be back. I hope they take this off their menu. As well, we tried the spicy peanut noodles. Only get this if you want overcooked noodles. They had no chew to them.

I moved to Ann Arbor recently, and have been missing life alive more than I thought I would. Life alive (especially this location) always has quick service, peaceful atmosphere and affordable pricing. Great variety on the menu---with balanced nourishing food. I never thought I would miss a chain restaurant, but this place has 10x better food than literally anywhere I have eaten in the Midwest. The only negative here is if you are watching your sugar intake, 4/5 smoothie bowls come from the machine and are essentially sorbet. Avoid that and go for the green smoothie bowl which is blended fruit, avocado, and kale. Top with hemp seeds and you have a perfect low sugar bowl!

This place has amazing food, and is completely vegetarian. It is very delicious, especially the falafel in opinion. The drinks are great too, and they even have great acai bowls (smoothies in a bowl with toppings). The atmosphere is very nice, and everything is recyclable.Vegetarian options: EVERYTHING IS VEGETARIAN.
