My first impression of Salt + Stone occurred even before we sat down to eat; it was during the reservation process. The night before our reservation I found out I needed to add one more person. The person who took the call say they were packed that night and it would be tough to do and did so but with the proviso we would have to be out within 90 minutes. I was fine with that given we had tickets in Boston that night and understood since it was a last-minute change. Within 30 minutes of getting off the call, that same person called saying she was able to move a bunch of stuff around and that she made room for our party and wouldn't have to leave after 90 minutes. She went out of her way to help us out there when we were already satisfied! The restaurant is spacious and chic and parking was easy to find in a nearby garage which did not charge if you left within 3 hours (where do you find free paring anywhere these days?). Our server was top notch and was attentive without being on top of us. Our drinks were replenished quickly and our food came our quickly. We all finished our dishes -- they were excellent! We will definitely be back!

There are many restaurants in the Assembly Square area. This time I decided to try one that I had not tried. Salt and Stone is a very nice place, with a creative and interesting menu. The prices are a tad high but its worth checking out.
The place was so loud and the table was tiny. We could not fit 2 appetizers, wine and water on the table. Didn't bother to order dinner. The food was, wish I had space to eat it
We spent valentines here! We got the deviled eggs and the Brie dip for apps, I got the fettuccini shrimp pasta & my boyfriend got the hangar steak as our meals. Lastly, we finished with crème brûlée for desert. All of the food was phenomenal. Our server was also great, despite have to run back and forth between freezing temperatures, he had a great attitude and was on top of his game! Such a great spot, we will definitely be back.

We ordered shrimp cocktail, surf and turf, and lobster ravioli, and were underwhelmed across the board, especially when considering the cost of each dish. Shrimp cocktail was especially disappointing In addition, just a warning that in the winter, whenever the front door and side door (used by staff to service the outdoor enclosed patio) are opened, the front half of the restaurant becomes a wind tunnel...

Lively atmosphere, fun mixed drink options and our server was great I would definitely recommend. For appetizers we ordered the tuna poke, the crostini and the baked Brie. All 3 were delicious and generous portions The only issues was two of us ordered steak medium rare, and both came out well done, other than that I have no complaints. I will note that we did not bring this to the attention of the server, I have no doubt they would have offered to correct it but honestly they still tasted delicious so we chose to keep it to ourselves.

Great place for a nice lunch. The service was terrific, Katlyn (sp?) was one of the nicest server I have come across in a while. She was extremely professional, helpful and pleasant. It added 100% to the experience.

This was our first time at this restaurant.They offered a broad array of choics on the menu. I ordered tuna nicoise salad, which was outstanding. All of our orders were quite good and service was very good.

Salt & Stone was a great place to meet up with friends. They have great drinks and many sharable dishes on the menu. Our server was very pleasant and available whenever needed. We would -- and have -- recommended Salt & Stone to friends.

This was my second time at Salt & Stone. It's a great place and I loved introducing my husband and son to this place. They have an array of food offerings and a great drinks menu as well.

We sat out in the heated enclosed space to have dinner. The waitstaff continuously left the door open the whole time we were there. The heaters could not keep up w the cold so our whole experience was impacted by the constant rush of cold. Mixed drinks were small for the price. Meatball app was delish but u had to rush to eat while it was hot. The whole meal felt like we had to rush it because of the cold. I would not eat in those conditions again. Our server was excellent and very sweet.

Love this place. The food is so good and the vibe is chill and fun. Always impressed with how genuinely nice the staff is, whether they are busy or have time, everyone is very gracious. Drinks are unusual and delish - menu is varied enough for everyone to find something special.
