ONCE Ballroom is not only a Somerville staple for the underground show network in general, it is also more specifically one of the most accessibly booked venues around. Super cool inside, with furniture from the bowling alley it used to be, and an awesome stage setup that for the size of the venue makes you feel as though you are in a much larger space. Once is a fine place for concerts and events of various types. The staff is awesome and the place is super affordable. It was nice to spend NYE there. We saw four cool bands and got complimentary champagne to welcome the new year and decade! I'd love to go back there!
