We tried takeout from this place! My favorite pizza from now on. You can definitely see that the dough and pasta is house-made. My daughter 's kids pizza was perfect too. I'm hoping to eat at the place one day- heard their cocktails are good too.

Been going here for years since I grew up in Somerville, pretty much have been going ever since y’all opened, and it hits every time. Excellent food, ambience, kitchen team, and nice servers/hosts. Never sat at the bar but I bet it’s great too. I’ve recommended this place to friends new to Somerville and I don’t make food recs lightly!Pictures:OlivesFlatbread (insanely good)Meatballs and aranciniCalamariOctopusMeat lovers spicy pizza

I don't think this restaurant deserves the high starred reviews. The octopus appetizer was OK but the octopus was overcooked. The pizzas were weird in that they had very little topping on them plus they were very unevenly sliced. The crust was excellent. We had the apple&gorgonzola and the mushroom, both white. Maybe we ordered the wrong pizzas; the other diners looked happy. The desserts were acceptable. The service was very good. The atmosphere was typical noisy. The experience was just not something I'd relish repeating.

Sad to say this place is 3 out of 5 stars for me. The drinks were great, the service was a bit slow. We received our food before our cocktails which was weird. The chicken parmesan was rubbery and difficult to cut. I really wanted to like this spot but I probably won't be back.

After the first few times I came here, I thought "it's good for Davis Square." But I've been here enough since, and had pretty solid meals and happy hours, to now think it really holds its own against some of the other Italian restaurants in the area. The ambience is amazing! So warm and inviting, with soft lighting and rustic wood tables and chairs, all warmed by the glow of the pizza oven. We have tried apps, salad, pizza and pasta and dessert and all are really solid, served piping hot, the dough for the bread and pizza seem really fresh, and the portions are generous. My one big complaint is all of the food is under-salted. Like ALL of it. We were sitting at the bar one night, and another diner asked if she could borrow the salt grinder in front of us, promising to return it. We said sure and I asked what she was having. "The swordfish...it's gonna be good with a little salt." See what I mean? My only other issue is that this style of pizza, touted as "Neapolitan", is too floppy and droopy in the center for my taste. And the eggplant pizza needs much more eggplant. But the flavor is there - fresh dough, wood fired - pretty good. I like the mushroom pizza best. I've also had hit or miss experiences with some of the salads - out of season tomatoes, odd combos. But the arancini, bruschetta (I know - why get this when you're getting pizza too? But my husband lives for a good bruschetta) and meatballs are very good. The smoked rosemary bread is outstanding, and arrives like a present, wrapped in parchment, and fresh and steaming hot! What a treat! And the pastas are nicely steaming hot, seemingly cooked to order and yummy (after a bit of salt...) The desserts we tried were during happy hour, so they were petite versions of cannoli - very good and I loved the crispy, flavorful shell - and we also had a standard, a-ok tiramisu. The service is very good and friendly. The crowd is welcoming. So I say come and get the smoked rosemary bread and dip it in the sauce around the meatballs. Add a little grated cheese and life is pretty, pretty, pretty good.

Went for Saturday night dinner. Very quick service. Good mocktail options. Got the buffalo chicken pizza and mushroom rigatoni and shared both; still went home with some delicious leftovers. The mini cannoli trio was fresh and tasty, too.

Well... used to love Posto. Food and service were always good and welcoming. Last night sat at the bar and after 20 minutes the bartenders finally came by. Too bad they were distant and unwelcoming. Terrible. I generally expect bartenders to be friendly and pleasant. Food was decent. The salad though was odd for an arugula salad.
