This is a great restaurant for the best Haitian food in Town, but the service is poor. People who are taking orders are not polite, they do not instruct how to talk to customers. I am from Haiti for more than 40 years most of the Nationalities have some kind of business background to interact with people but unfortunately, Haitian are terrible in this regard, consequently their business suffering. No good customer services at Sunrise, unfortunately. Please do not yeld at customers!!!

I was blown away by the Haitian food here! From the griot to the diri kole and legume they knocked it our the park with the right amount of bold spicy flavors!

Food has always been really good, but the service isn’t the greatest. I get that us Haitians can sometimes be stand-offish but service with a smile and a friendly disposition go a long way. Treat every customer whether they look Haitian or speak creole like they’re guest in your home and special. Also, the prices are a bit high now. Paid $75 bucks for three meals. Again, I’m not trying to disparage a local Haitian establishment and we truly have loved this place going back to their previous location but going above and beyond in those little things will help this place explode with business and make it a more enjoyable experience for the customer.

The beef Legume is good but TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! Absolutely terrible service. I can't stress that enough. Super unprofessional. Been supporting them for years either way, but nothing changes with their horrible customer service skills.

Why others don't like to support small businesses? They deserve better than what we've rated them. Cooking might be sometimes painful. Do you think that 5***** is enough, tape them well also, please!

Food was absolutely bad like dam this was my first time in Boston and of course I wanted to get some Haitian food did my research find this spot but just horrible food was nasty rice taste like it wasn’t cooked right and the customer service just bad I love my Haitian restaurant in Jersey way much better

This place has disgusting service. I came here to enjoy breakfast with my fiancé and I ordered French toast. The French toast was made with a lot of eggs and was very salty with no flavor. French toast is supposed to be sweet and savory. I brought these concerns to the manager who never checked on us while dining. The manager was extremely rude and said "Well I don't know what you want to do about this, you're the first person to say something like this". I apologized to him and suggested that maybe it was just this batch of food but that I don't feel comfortable paying for the meal when I didn't eat it. He left to get us a receipt, slammed the receipt on our table and said "That's it, final!" The receipt included the bill for my meal as well. I will never go to this restaurant again. My fiancé went to the register and asked the manager he could just pay for the food that he ate and the manager started being extremely rude to him and tried to force him to pay the full amount with a tip. I felt necessary to start recording the interaction for our safety.

I called to order breakfast for my mom and the guy who picked up the phone was extremely rude. I did not feel yelling over the phone was warranted. The guy was extremely frustrated, impatient and seemed over worked. I don’t think it’s nice to be treated like trash when I am spending my hard earned money supporting an establishment. The food is decent but customer service is key and Sunrise Cuisine needs training in handling customers.

On Valentine’s Day 2023, I went to that place and the waiter/cashier tall gentleman was screaming at the staff in the back. He also was too lazy too bring the food to my table after I told him I was going to eat there. He literally told me to come get the food that he placed in a Togo box(shocking). By 07:55pm, the gentleman started rushing me out of the place because they close at 8:00pm and he wanted to clean. The whole time, I was wondering why isn’t it cleaning the back or somewhere else? Cause by the time he comes to the front, I will be done eating. He then proceeded to come to my table with a plastic bag in his hands and demande that I hurry off the table(what a nightmare). He picked up the set asides bones and put them in the trash bag then went to discard them outside in the plaza trash receptacles. The guy was a total j**** I will never eat there ever again or recommend anyone to ever go there. I kindly took whatever was left and another Togo plate that I ordered when I first arrived and left. I have never seen such lack of customer service and a business representative being this rude in the past.
