Hands down, the Best BBQ in Greater Boston. Best of all, it's cheaper than a flight to Texas. Place is a garage in Union Square with no seating - it's takeout only. The guy that runs the spot is super passionate about the craft and was kind enough to chat and explain the process. Only caveat is that the brisket sells out fairly early. The sides are very good, don't sleep on them. Between this place, BT's in Sturbridge and Rusty Can in Byfield - the New England *good* Q scene is slowly improving.

The worst BBQ I ever had Big chunks of fat passed off as burnt INS. The ribs was all fatty. Worst experience of my life will never eat there again. I would have had better chances of eating a hot plate of dog food and enjoying it.

This place is strictly take out only. There is a mini parking lot where you can park but it fills up quickly. From the parking lot, you have to walk down the alley. They have a website where you can make an order online but there is a small hospitality fee. If you don't wanna pay the fee, you should call to order.I think this is the only bbq place is the greater Boston area that sells beef ribs and it is huge. Tender meat falls off the bone and 1 rib is enough for 1 person by itself. The combo plates portion is large too. Definitely have leftovers for another 2 meals. The sweet potato side was a bit too sweet for me though. The sweet lime flavor coleslaw wasn't bad. I enjoyed their cornbread a lot. Crispy edges but not burnt at all.

As a Kentuckian who moved to Boston in 2019 I have high expectations about smokehouse bbq. Until I met Wade I was disappointed in what Boston had to offer. Wade's BBQ is the real thing. Smoky, tender, juicy meats a soulful sides. I had the brisket and burnt pork belly ends with cole slaw and smoked turkey collard greens. The servings are generous, but I need to get more the next time I visit, and a double order of the collards. Wade is a friendly host who's passionate about his craft. Service was quick. The setting is cute, a little garage door tucked in an alley right next to The Jungle and Backbar in Union Square. Some outdoor seating available. Menu has pulled portobello for the vegan in your crowd.

Dee Wades bbq is absolutely amazing. Everytime I’m in the area I can smell the bbq from blocks away. I literally have to order almost everything on the menu each visit. The beef rib is definitely my favorite! Great food and great customer service.

I ran into David Wade, owner of Wade BBQ, today!I pick up dinner twice a week for the house, and I love to try new things (even if it’s just two of us in the house who appreciate my culinary adventures, haha).Mr. Wade paused to chat about opening his business five months ago, and I got to share what it was like opening Neighborhoods Cafe with Betsy Hill (and our friend Charlotte, but she was not in country when we opened due to visa issues).I remember creating the recipes, designing the routines, hiring employees, marketing and getting to see my cake pops make it on the news, after I networked to feature them for Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer! It’s such a thrilling feeling to see something that you’ve put so much work into become something that other people enjoy. The food he makes is top notch DELICIOUS!!!He is also just next to a massive parking lot, which is super helpful, and there are plenty of handicap accessible spots in that lot.Support Wade!

My girlfriend and I stumbled into this place tonight and got a beef rib to test it out. We ate it at a picnic table and promptly returned 5 minutes later for pork ribs and burnt ends. All the meat was amazing. The mac and cheese was good, and the collard greens were too spicy for us, but that’s not necessarily an issue! We’ll 100% be back to the best BBQ place hands down in MA.Unfortunately, we forgot to take photos because the food was so good!Vegetarian options: Menu listed at least one veg option for “meat”. We weren’t going to try it, but it was there.Parking: There are several paid parking options and some free neighborhood parking around. Better to walk, but definitely possible to park if you want.Kid-friendliness: It’s BBQ. What kid doesn’t like bbq? The sides also include mac and cheese and french fries.Wheelchair accessibility: It’s up an alley and definitely something you could wheel up to. Not necessarily easy terrain but no steps.

We got takeout via Doordash. After reading that the portion size was pretty large, we decided to split a "Two Meat Dinner" with the Smoked Brisket and the St. Louis Ribs. The brisket was excellent, lean, and smokey. The bbq sauce was a bit sweeter than my tastes, but very good. The ribs were also very good, perfectly cooked but not charred, and deeply flavored. For the sides, we chose the collards and sweet potatoes. Where Wade excels with their meats, they totally let us down with the sides. BBQ varies widely in the south, and we've had lots of styles of meats and sides, but the collards were WAY too vinegary and peppery, the sweet potatoes had WAY too much sugar. The dinner was supposed to come with cornbread, but instead we found two pieces of soggy wonder bread (yuck!). I suggest that you just order bulk meats and skip the dinner.

We recently did a local BBQ tasting and Wade’s is the best! The burnt ends are juicy and tasty and have a really nice crunch on the outside. Will go again soon!
