Becky’s family-made pies at The Pie Stand are so delicious that they usually sell out in about an hour or so! The best approach to guarantee picking up a pie is to phone your order in the day before. At first, we would buy a pie for a special occasion. Now, it has become a desert staple in our house. Becky & her family work hard at The Pie Stand to bake the most delicious pies! I knew this was “opening day” @12:00 per usual but lost track of time. I called her at 12:45 & she was sold out of the 50+ pies for the day! Oh my God was I upset with myself. No big deal ... I ordered a mixed-berry pie for tomorrow. I had my daughter call back right away for 2020 pricing. Becky said she miscounted, to our delight, and said she had 1 strawberry-rhubarb pie which she saved for us....read full review

A sign will go out in the morning by the road , telling you when the stand will open. Bring cash. This is a real treat to experience. In addition to all types of pies, they often have cookies or scones. Double crust , crumb top , it is always a surprise, then they wrap the pie in newspaper! You can’t go wrong, don’t worry if your favorite is sold out- make another pick. You won’t regret stopping at this roadside stand.
