Used to live it, that was 10 years ago. Sat at a table, ordered food. 45 minutes later and nothing. Kitchen staff looked lost. Bummer.

When we arrived, there were very few customers inside, we were told to "just sit wherever". A server brought menus, but it was quite a few minutes before she came back to take our order. We then waited over 30 minutes for an appetizer order of 2 small bao buns, which arrived only seconds before our entrees. My chicken ramen was possibly the worst ramen I've had - the noodles were in a big, congealed ball at the bottom of the bowl, it was hard to get them apart, and once I did, the center of the ball of noodles was cold. The broth had no flavor, there were 2 very small, thin slices of chicken, and almost no vegetables. I left it almost completely untouched, and the wait staff didn't actually ask if everything was ok. My husband's bibimbap was also just ok, but not flavorful, and he did not finish most of it.I guess I expected better ramen from a small shop that advertises itself as a ramen restaurant.Would not recommend, and will not return.

Ramen should never take one hour to serve. And when it is served, it shouldn't come out with cold chicken/egg inside of it. The noodles were overcooked and the broth flavorless. That said, the apps were pretty good. Just not sure how they missed so bad on ramen.....

This was by far one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. My significant other and I came here Saturday afternoon after work thinking we’d fall in love considering the pretty well reviews. I should’ve known when we were being ignored for 20 minutes straight to be seated. Not only were we ignored when they finally sat us we were squished in a tight corner. Not sure how long it took for our appetizers to come but I can say that was the only thing that was semi okay. When our food FINALLY arrived I was in shock. I ordered chicken lo mein, and a sushi roll, and my boyfriend had their ramen. We could only eat a couple of bites before feeling sick. My sushi tasted like it’s been sitting for hours the salmon not fresh tasted fishy. I only ate one piece which I then spit out. My noodles had the texture of a gummy worm. When the waiter arrived it took forever to get her attention she asked how was the food and all she did was take the food back and bring me a bill of $90 worth of food that I only had a bite from. I will never attend this place again?

Food was greasy, service slow. Got the duck ramen and it was nothing to write home about. Wife and i shared egg rolls as an app and they were a solid meh. Price was right, i think everything (2 entrees, app, and a drink) was less than $50. But i’d only eat here if i lived next door, won’t be back.

Very chill spot and just for that, chill. Decided to try it for lunch but took most part of the hour before we got our food. Food was tasty, no complaints from our party, cleaned our plates. Wanna check it out again when I have more time to well...chill ?

Came here to enjoy a nice dinner with my family. We put ourselves on the waitlist online before driving to the restaurant (about 30 mins) and once we arrived we were informed it would be about an additional 50 minute wait. We understood, no problem and went to the bar next door for a drink to pass the time. Once we got called, we came back to the restaurant and were told it would be an additional 15 minutes. No issues, it was busy and so we understood. However, once we got seated is where things took a turn. The kitchen seemed to be backed up and servers were running around while we waited so I can understand a place is busy and I can be patient, but once we finally DID get to order, we received a very unwelcome attitude from the wait staff bc the kitchen was going to close soon. How is that our fault? We waited almost 90 minutes to eat and we’re ordering at the soonest available opportunity, do not take it out on us. Not to mention that we waited 20 minutes for drinks and appetizers alone. The worst part is that the food is actually really great, the dirty looks for ordering food just ruined an otherwise very nice experience.

We've ordered takeout at Iya several times over the past couple years. The food varies from meh to good - nothing really super. Some of the maki rolls (bumble crunch, sweet potato) are very good. Last weekend we ordered take out - some maki rolls, noodles, dumplings, and it seems like they had the B team working that night. The rolls were sloppy, and the protein to rice ratio in the rolls was very small.I'm writing this review because they underestimated the wait time by 50 minutes, during which we were standing in the tiny lobby. If they had not asked us to pay when we walked in, we would have walked out after half and hour beyond the 50 minutes we were originally told. My advice: don't try take-out on a weekend night unless you have plenty of time to spare.

IYA is a cozy restaurant near the Mount Holyoke campus. Service was friendly and attentive. Dishes are adequate but not inventive. The kitchen seemed short staffed.

Solid sit down place for asian fusion. I went when it was slow but the food, appetizers, and meal came out in a perfect time. The ramen is okay. The gyoza is okay. The scallion pancakes were perfect. I didn't try my partner's pho but she said it was alright as well. Our server was awesome, and was super nice. When I asked for kimchi she specifically asked if it's okay since kimchi typically has fish sauce in it. I don't know her name but she was great. The melted popsicle was alright. A tiny bit too sweet. But, with the name maybe I should expect that. I'd go again.Vegetarian options: Depending on the host you get you may or may not be told the kimchi has fish sauce in it if you didn't already know it does. Other than that they're awesome with options.

Overall a great experience!- excellent crab rangoon sushi- lovely service, music, and lighting- amazing drinks (we highly recommend the “melted popsicle” drink if you’re a sweet tooth and the “mango soda” if you want something a bit less sweet)- my brother said “it was very good, i’m very glad i went here”two of us got the chicken ramen and we agreed that it wasn’t as flavorful as we hoped but everyone else in my party enjoyed their meal!!Dietary restrictions: There was rice noodles and they were good!
