I’ve stayed at the gem a couple of times and enjoyed myself thoroughly both times. It has a lot of charm and character. The staff were excellent, beyond friendly and accommodating, from the front desk to the bar to the owner.I had one of the best nights sleep in a while in the comfortable bed. Make sure you go to Bogeys, best pint of Guinness in the area too.Stay here when you visit Cape Cod for a good time and support local businesses.I’ll be back for Rebel fest!

I arrived on a Sunday evening about 6:45. The bar was full, but they were going to close the kitchen at 7. I felt guilty. They were only serving off the lunch menu, and that was fine with me. I had just driven 2 hours, and I was hungry. The menu had plenty to choose from, soups, salads, sandwiches, and pizza by the slice or whole pie. The poor waitress, Annie, said she had been on for like 20 hours & had lost her voice, but she was still perky and good natured (It had been a very busy sold out weekend with the St Patrick's Parade, 2nd largest in the state) I chose quickly, even though Annie asked if I needed more time. I went with the cheeseburger, rare. And did I want fries? I said no because I didn't want to be more work.It seemed like only 5 minutes later, the burger and fries arrived. I quickly asked if there was dessert. Annie said yes & listed off a variety. I couldn't decide between 2 & she said she'd surprise me, and I asked for it to go.The burger ? was big and cooked perfectly rare with 2 pieces of cheese! The curley fries were actually small pieces, cooked perfectly crispy, and they were not greasy. (They were there, I had to taste them, lol). The dessert arrived- The Apple Star, like a mini apple pie, the size of a cup cake. In a separate container was a scoop of vanilla ice cream.I could barely finish the burger, and I had the dessert later in the room. I was delighted with Annie's choice. The next morning I went back for breakfast and ate in the regular dining room. There was Annie full of energy, and she had her voice back. The breakfast menu is extensive. I decided on 2 eggs, sunny side, bacon ?, home fries, and wheat toast. This meal came quickly, too. Again, the eggs were cooked perfectly. The 4 pieces of bacon were crispy, just the way I liked. The home fries were a surprise. Little pieces of potatoes cooked crispy on all sides without being over cooked and hard, and they were not spicy. I don't like spicy or limp large potato pieces so I usually don't eat the home fries. My coffee ☕️ was kept full. I really enjoyed it all, & it kept me full all day.The hotel has been around for years and has been through several reincarnations. The current is to The Irish Village, after a move from South Yarmouth. The front desk people are pleasant & helpful. Make sure you ask for a map because the hotel is massive. There are a lot of luggage carts, the doors are automatic, and there is an overhang, so you won't get wet unloading your car.The lobby is large, half of it is taken up by some of the restaurant. There are no couches to sit and wait on, only 2 chairs by the front desk. There's a section off to the side with a long table, more chairs and lamps where you can charge your electronics. Small groups and families can bring pizza to the table & crafters can craft. There only 2 floors and there is no elevator. (Welcome to Cape Cod.)The rooms are adequate, not fancy. They are not all the same, some have a closet, some have an armoire. There are small refrigerators & if you want a microwave request one when you make your reservation or when you check in. The lamps do not have USB plugs. In fact there are only 3 electrical plugs in the rooms mostly taken up by lamps, fridge, TV, cable box, maybe your coffeemaker, (& microwave) I suggest you bring an extension cord particularly if you have a number of electronics. There are small patios or decks. The hotel has a hair salon, a gym, indoor and outdoor pools, bar (Bogey's) & restaurant (check on hours), & plenty of parking. They are kid friendly. Locals frequent the restaurant, & salon. There is a lot of repeat business. For groups there are multiple meeting rooms & a huge function room. They are also experts in feeding groups. The location is just off the rotary at the west of main street in Hyannis. The Melody Tent is across the street as is a restaurant. There is a liquor store next door. In season, there is a Trolley ? to take you around town. It is within walking distance to

Good time for Cape Cod Irish Parade Day.

It is typical of a large conference center and resort. The rooms were clean if unspectacular, the service was very good. However, they seem to struggle getting food out for a large conference center.

My sister and I decided on a last-minute quick getaway after the holidays. We wanted Mom to join us so we chose The Irish Village as she previously visited there quite often at the other location. We could not have had a better weekend. Check-in was welcoming and cheerful and they had a room ready for us exactly as I had requested. We decided to do a meal plan because we knew we would be in on Saturday night and wanted to check out the entertainment. They had great options, and the food and service was great. Annie was our waitress most times and she can run circles around everyone. We had 1 small issue in our room with the TV not working, call the desk someone was at our door within minutes. He could not fix the TV, said he would be right back - and came back with a new TV for us in record time -great service! We will be back. Mom is 88, and she had a wonderful time, and enjoyed the entertainment as much as we did on Saturday night, and stayed right until last call! Friday nights entertainment was great as well. Saturdays entertainment was The Ole Brigade - 5 stars for them is not nearly enough!Rooms: Roomy, clean and well maintained.Nearby activities: Downtown HyannisWalkability: In good weather it is an easy walk to downtown Hyannis and the shops.Food & drinks: Food was great - and if you want to get out there are plenty of nearby options.

It is one of the best bang for your buck hotels on the map. If you are a Golfer you take one step outside your room and you are on the fairway. The Irish village felt more like a time share with returning guests coming year after year. The Irish village is so large it feels like it's own little community. The restaurant located in the hotel serving breakfast lunch and dinner is outstanding. You are not going to find a better price on the cape that has even hald the class as the Irish village... They have two pools for the kids and a convention center directly across the street thats hosts all kinds of events. They host a hard working, kind, and professional full staff to asist you during your stay. Hyannis has a lot of trashy hotels... Do your research and you will find yourself in complete agreement that the irish village is your best optionin the area. I hope you enjoy yourself as much as I did. Good luck!

Lovely people, they are doing a great job upgrading the roomsNearby activities: Near great food, and when the weather is good beaches. They do cater to children and children's groups ie hockey tournaments. So the evening can get chaotic

Cute hotel in a great location right by all the shops and restaurants in Hyannis. We couldn’t use the pool or hot tub because there were like 100 middle school boys staying at the hotel for some sort of hockey tournament. The boys screamed all night and ran around the halls. It was a nightmare. I wish we could have been informed of the group staying so we would have been able to book elsewhere and have a relaxing night.

My family’s recent stay at the Cape Cod Irish Village was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the entire visit. Their dedication and helpfulness were truly remarkable, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. They are among the hardest working staff we have ever experienced. One of the highlights of our weekend getaway was the disco event organized by the hotel. It was a fantastic opportunity to let loose and have some fun. The music and DJs were great, the atmosphere was lively, and it provided the perfect opportunity to socialize and unwind after a busy week.In addition to the disco, the hotel offered a good range of amenities and activities. From relaxing by the pool to exploring the local area, there was never a dull moment during our stay. The accommodations were somewhat outdated but still comfortable, and the food offerings at the restaurant were very good too. We will definitely return!

I have been a member of the Athletic Cub in the Hotel for 25 years. Along with all of the physical improvements to property a wonderful new change has taken place personnel wise Smiles are the first thing you notice from the Staff. Usually the emoyees on the front line are indicative of upper Management( Kudos to upper Management)which has taken place since the New Management has taken over. The staff are Professional. Knowledgeable, and very Customer Oriented . Starting from Maliana and Diane at front desk to Security Mgt. Ronnie, to Alex the Life guard.. The Cape Cod Irish Village is a wonderful Family Oriented Village. Along with adult programs, they always have special programs for children. The Irish Village just had a "Disco Weekend". Great Entertainment from Boston and events for children (Special Hobby Horse race). All the Entertainment was included. If you look at their Package Deal for weekend you will not believe the Value for you and your Family. I use to be involved in Travel Industry and I know Value. I am certainly not paid for this review but I do like to comment on well run Hospitality Properties such as the Cape Cod Irish Village. Entertaining and Fun. I know you will Enjoy your stay.
