We've been several times to the new location and just love it. Today's special was out of this world though. We had the Crab Benny and it was gone in about 5 minutes.

We LOVE donuts. We LOVE LOVE LOVE cinnamon rolls. In BOTH categories, we thought we knew the best. Lots of debates, etc. over many years.Then...a story on "Only In Your State"...brought us to The Donut Stand. We are well-traveled and chase donuts! Now, we KNOW that we can have the very BEST of both (can't wait to try the sandwiches, too!).The Donut Stand is incredible. We drive from the Cape every chance we get.If you've made it this far, why aren't you already in your car, driving? ?

The BEST food I've ever tasted. Mike and his staff are so friendly and accommodating. The ambience is so fun! There is a reason there are lines around the corner every morning before the doors open. If you've never experienced the Donut Stand you need to prioritize a visit ASAP!!

First of all Mike and Hanna are the nicest most genuine people in the entire world. But secondly they’re pretty incredible chefs. The donuts obviously speak for themselves and are by far the best around. Their sandwiches? Also unreal. The cookies though- best cookies ever. Do not skip the cookies.

My boss brought a half dozen in for work on friday:The strawberry was reminiscent of childhood summer days picking fresh berries; dough so pillowy and cloudlike I nearly wept with joy.Best donut of 2024 so far.

I love their donuts! Always unique and fun flavors to try. The only recommendation is you need to get here early to snag donuts because they sell out!

I definitely wouldn't give this donut shop five stars. They are huge, which is a plus barely could bite into them but I thought they were a little dry. My son brought some over for breakfast and he picked out a honey dipped doughnut like a cinnamon and sugar, doughnut, and two cinnamon buns. I had the honey dipped doughnut. I didn't think it was that great. I love donuts and I'm very sorry to give this review but they weren't the best ones I've ever had.

Best gourmet donuts! We found out about this place because our local farm sells their peaches to this shop for their donuts and were recommended by them! If you know they use in season fruits from your local farms for their donut filling you already know its a winner. We didnt meet the opening time for the donuts so the selections were low but they were kind enough to fill it w exactly what i wanted which was strawberry guava! In their brioche donut. Their seasonal flavor! If you want a specific flav follow their instagram for their seasonal flavors since they change it up frequently and go early because they sell out!

Amazing donuts that could easily be part of a higher end patisserie. They have the most amazing brioche dough and a really good flavors incorporated into any of their fillings or icings/glazes. I would argue they also have the best chocolate cake donut in the state! Highly recommend!

Hands down my favorite doughnut spot in MA. The actual dough in their doughnuts tastes so fresh and great every time. Never stale or dried out. Add on their glazes, frostings, toppings, etc. and it's a party in your mouth. My absolute favorites are their House Jelly Donut and DS Cinnamon Roll. They're just perfect. If I still lived in MA I would be a diabetic 600 pounder because I wouldn't be able to resist going here multiple times a week. Absolutely worth getting up early to get there for opening or to wait if there is a line.

My favorite donut shop in MetroWest is sort of a cross between a pop-up and a rented sub-space within the Vin Bin, but they're here to stay. These are mostly brioche donuts, so not that sweet and more bready, but the freshness separates them from other contenders (pretenders) whose donuts feel more like hamburger buns. Here, they're usually fluffy. The real star is the toppings and fillings, which are always made with quality ingredients and often brilliant. But back to the freshness: one drawback for some is that not all of the posted varieties are available 100% of the time, but that means they're making new batches throughout the morning.Classic Vanilla Bean Glazed: Great showcase for the underlying donut quality, which is voluminous but usually fluffy and light. The topping is very liberally applied, very natural tasting, and not just sugar. No flaking; taste and texture more like delicious buttercream. Boston Cream: Same basic donut, filled with fairly ordinary vanilla pudding but topped with extraordinary chocolate ganache. Thick, dark, moist, and intense. Probably a bit behind Union Square Donuts in topping intensity/quality, but with an underlying donut that's fresher and superior to USD. Belgian Chocolate Ganache: Same deal as Boston Cream, only with a hole instead of filling. Go with whichever looks more recently arrived.Jelly: These come in a variety of configurations at different times, but with two things in common: always spherical and plump, and always filled extra generously with the jelly of choice. These aren't the kind that takes you three or four bites to strike jelly; it's an explosion from the get-go.Scones: Different flavors available different weeks. Crusty on the outside, dense but moist on the inside, and good filling content, whether fruit or chocolate. Like a thick, thick cookie. A chocolate chip one was very gooey without stooping to lowest common denominator theatrics. Excellent.Apple Fritter: Big, bumpy, fluffy, fresh, warm, and extra glazy. Filling more like standard issue apple sauce, so no excitement there, but what an exterior and texture. Sometimes they do them with caramel, but I like the simplicity of the regular ones better. You decide.Coffee: They have it, but it's not really a priority. Sometimes at opening it's not ready. Silver lining: ready or not, you can bring Starbucks in from next door. AndStarbucks lets you bring their donuts in if you want to eat there.

Best donuts in all of MA, maybe even all of New England. I truly haven't had better buttery, flavorful, pillowy donuts anywhere. And I've had A LOT of donuts. Their flavor creations are one of a kind and their ingredients are all locally sourced. Incredible. My favorites (if I had to pick) are the classic vanilla honey glaze and the cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting. Seriously delicious. Not to be missed. If you like homemade jelly, fillings and toppings, this is the place. If you like jelly out of a tub, I'd go elsewhere, save the good stuff for the rest of us. Donut stand is a hidden gem!
