One of the best dine-in places around. Great food with amazing prices. The family that owned it are incredibly nice and offer above average service. The BYOB makes it an even better experience.

I had very high expectations about this authentic Mexican restarting. Walking in, the smell was amazing. Waitress got out of chair off her cell phone long enough to take our order and returned with a large basket of warm tortillas and a shot glass size bowl of watery salsa. Then the food came. Rice was nice and fluffy. Refried beans were smooth and tasty. However my chicken was like sawdust and the beef was like chewing a pencil eraser. Shrimp was however acceptable. Needed to ask for a container to carry out so as not to be rude and tell them the food was horrible but not lacking in flavor.

The owner is very hands on. You will see him behind the counter,delivering food to the tables,taking orders,cooking. Very hard worker.The food is very good,reasonably priced.The service from the waitresses. lacks. Zero personality, very slow, and could come across as dismissive.I'd recommend take out if dining in.Again,great food!

This place is by far the slowest restaurant in Springfield I recommend you go any other place than here to eat to eat Mexican food Bueno Y Sano is a great option Frontera Grill is another great option unless you want to be standing around for 30 minutes waiting for your food do not come here, I've given this restaurant multiple chances to make up for me waiting around many of times and every single time it's the same thing same story

Best mexican food around, the Chile relleno and chipotle shrimp were amazing!
The carnitas tacos and the beans were some of the best I’ve tried and I spent most of my life in San Diego and Baja California. I was hoping that the birria was real goat but instead it was beef, but it was still good. The Horchata and the bean portions were tiny for the price but they were very good.

If you want ambiance, or a feeling that you just arrived in Mexico, look somewhere else. If you want great food, this IS the place. I had a pork dish that I cut with a fork, and used the chips to eat the remaining sauce. One of the best meals I have ever had, NO KIDDING. Give it a try, I'll be back.

No seasoning Not even sauce. I ordered carne asada and they gave me 5 little pieces of meat, a chunk.. Very bad food. Out of service, they are useless. Very expensive and ? very bad food. I pay 50 box for bad food... the drink is by machine... worst place ever..
