I went here once 3 years back I do make drives out the western side of the state. I can stop back in again. When someone mentioned covid again. that is nothing to worry about in the Boston area its business as usual I see lots of foot traffic people have returned to going out again. shopping is the same as before. I see that in my town with the bars and breweries.

I have never been treated so rudely by any establishment. I have been coming to socialite since they opened, Everyone there has always been nice until today. I always get the same thing and I guess they didn't hear me say to put the cream cheese on the side of the untoasted bagel. She corrected it with an attitude. I thanked her and apologized. I came back in because there was hardly any cream cheese in the soufletcup. I don't like to complain and i apologized again that i wasnt trying to be a pain, but I'm paying for it and a bagel with hardly any cream cheese is not appealing. I was immediately snapped at for them having to waste a bagel and asking for more cream cheese. I dont even like much cream cheese, part of the reason I always order it on the side. I tried to be nice about it and was treated terrible. She made the accusation that i didn't order it that way. Whoever the girl was ( I now know is the owner, which all makes sense, cus I dont think a regular employee there would treat me that way. All the staff has always been nice) that served me should not be in the industry. You will never receive business from my self, my co workers or any of my friends and family ever again?Owners response in fb...real professional-"Entitled people will always be so quick to attack and write a poor review for a small business. You are not to speak to people the way you do. We serve you food and just because you pay does not mean you own us. You were rude. And you got back what you deserved. So let that sink in. Have a great day."For the record, I am a medical professional now, but with many years in food industry as a server and bartender. I never would have spoken to or ever treated a customer like that. I was shocked to be spoken to this way. I have never made this sort of review and always felt that my purchases there was helping to support a local buisness, not a chain. I'm very disappointed, I always loved the coffee and everything. I don't know if she was just having a bad day, but this was completely uncalled for and upset me very much. I've never been rude or entitled by any means and your aggression towards me is completely uncalled for. What should have been NO BIG DEAL, turned into this. Happy Holidays!
LOVE this place!! Their coffee specials are beyond amazing, and their mint tea is the best I've ever had. I come here all the time to work and it's my favorite coffee spot. The staff is super friendly and everything is soo good. Just had there autumn fig salad today, and OH. MY. GOODNESS. Literally one of the best salads I've ever had. This will forever be a regular spot to work and read.

Found the cutest little spot near my home and decided to take my friend there since she was in town. Love that they have gluten free options and seasonal coffees are always great to try. The girls were very helpful and knew exactly what we were looking for. Great chic spot to go to and perfect for a little remote spot to work from.
