I'm so glad my friends and I decided to eat here. The food was awesome, and the service was the same. Best onion rings to boot.Parking: We got there at 5:30 and there was plenty of spaces.

My dish was delicious and plenty. My wife's salmon was overcooked, and the veggies were undercooked. If not for that, I'd have rated higher. My waitress was not attentive enough. They have keno!

The food is really good, their fried dough is to die for. I took off a star because although the service is usually great, if one of them (don't know her name but she has black hair and sits at the keeno desk and has worked there for years) dislikes someone at your table she'll be petty and rude and honestly unprofessional. I've been going there since I was a kid and love Grimsby's but it can be really annoying to have a server be petty and kinda rude just because she doesn't like who I go to the restaurant with when we are paying customers.

new to the area. we always dine in downtown Melrose. we thought we would try grimsby. chicken fingers were so dry, not edible. also ordered what we thought was fries for 7.95. they were potato chips. what a waste of 23.00. called to tell manager, young manager ( never took a class in customer service). couldn't be bothered. the reviews reflect good and customer service. we'll stick to down town.

I I love this place I keep comeing back me and my boy friend I love thier blue cheese bacon burger and sweet potatoes fry I think they have the best burgers in the world the waitress was great very good and fast very pretty girl I been a waitress before in florida she was very good polite and fast hope we get her again every time we come there the food is excellent they have a very well run Resturant love going there God bless them all can't wait to see you again I have my birthday comeing up feb 27 hope to come there again love your burgers all your food is great my boy friend had stuffed haddock he loves it and sweet potatoes fry and rice pilaf great food great place to enjoy a good meal I Rate this place 5 ✨ stars

JJ’s has been a staple in the area for many years, that’s no surprise. The food is great, cooked perfectly, and efficiently served. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect out of a local pub restaurant. JJ’s is a great place to stop in for some good food in a relaxed setting.

Just basic pub food . Not bad atmosphere service idk he was a nice guy.
It started with the drinks. My dirty martini was great. My husband asked for no ice, but it looked like extra ice! The French onion soup was delicious, but very small for the price. The wings weren't cooked all the way through, so we had them drop them again. Better the second time. Onto dinner. My main course was so yummy, stuffed haddock, rice pilaf, mixed veggies. The mixed veggies had baby carrots in it, not my favorite. My husband had the fisherman fried platter, no clams and it looked over cooked. Maybe they were upset we sent sent the wings back. Who knows.
