I highly recommend the kamikaze and the vegetarian roll- absolute epicurean delight!! A few hours later, my family always wants to go right back! “Went in at prime time on Friday night, managed to snag a table just in time! The service was impeccable; I dropped my chopsticks and was going to ask for new ones when a new pair suddenly appeared on my plate thanks to the incredibly attentive waitress. The other server ended up behind the sushi bar helping the guys get through the rush. The food was absolutely amazing. Had the Donna pancake (highly recommend if you like eel), toro and scallion roll with fresh wasabi, Buddha roll, the pickled veg was delish. Crab rangoons were on point, and the Godzilla roll knocked my socks off . Will be back for sure. Great date night spot.“

“We love Tama. My family orders take out here once a week, and they are consistently delicious. The pork pan fried dumpling, edamame, spicy salmon roll and classic and spicy ramen are our go to. But we have tried some other items, and everything is delicious. We are so happy Tama opened close to our house. There really aren't any decent restaurants in the Milton area, so we lucked out with this one. I highly recommend eating in, or getting take out. It's very clean and always friendly.“

“For a suburban area to serve decent Japanese food is rare. They do a lot of take out orders and they get busy on the weekends. They have good tasting sashimi, sushi, and hand rolls. I would avoid the rice bowls such as chicken or beef. Rolls were fresh and the waitress was friendly and honest. Parking can be located on the street or in the back for complimentary parking.“

“I got a misconception about this little place and until I entered and got a warm welcome. I was asking to add extra chairs as I had a group of friends coming and the service was amazing. “I have always had great consistent food here. Small modern, casual Chinese and Japanese restaurant. Staff is always very friendly and you get service with a smile. I always start with their Hot and Sour Soup! They use a thick old school recipe that hits you with complex flavors, plenty of fillers like wood ear mushrooms, golden needle, pork and all the good stuff. It finishes with a strong kick that will clear your sinuses. Their Spareribs on the Bone are some of the best around. Definitely one of my favorites. Their Shrimp with Lobster Sauce has a delicious flavor to it. It has a little sweetness complemented with black beans. They switched to the smaller shrimp. I actually like this because you get one in every bite. Like a famous chocolate chip cookie. The shrimp are cooked perfectly are not rubbery at all. Love this dish! Wings are crispy and juicy! Beef Teriyaki is delicious! The Egg Rolls have a really nice flavor. The ingredients could be chopped a little finer. Their sushi is delicious! Today my daughter had a Sushi Taco! Very yummy! There's also conveniently an ice cream shop right next door if you have any room left. Highly recommend eating here!“
“Went here in a group of 4. We got the miso ramen, kimchi ramen, 2 chicken katsu, shrimp tempura, & cheesecakes & fried ice cream. The food was really good all around. We had some mishaps with the cheesecakes but the manager was really kind & fixed it for us free of charge. It took us a while to get checked out, but they were understandably very busy. I would come back for the food & atmosphere.“

“Food here is very good! We had the hot n' sour and wonton soups. Hot n' sour not all that spicy on this evening. I prefer spicier but it was delicious and packed with black mushrooms, etc. Egg rolls were good, boneless spare ribs were the strip type. They weren't bad but I like the meatier types. We also had the Ginjo fried rice which wasn't dark - I prefer a lighter style - and had big chunks of pork, shrimp and other ingredients. Fresh and good. Also we had the Singapore rice noodles. This was also very good. Light curry with snow peas, shrimp, etc. Overall a very good meal and we would definitely go back. They have an extensive sushi menu here but we didn't try it. Small but clean space.“

“First time there and I loved my meal. I got the Bibimbap with veggies and beef, cooked egg on top, hubby got the same but with tofu. They arrived in cool stone bowls that not just kept it warm, but kept cooking the rice at the bottom! Genius. A lot of very delicious food, and the crispy rice at the bottom was great! “Nice Quaint little place, not too big inside probably room for 25 people maximum including the bar. We believe there's one person in the back making sushi and cooking the other dishes and like three others in front one waitress one bartender and one person taking used plates back. The prices are on par with other sushi places but all their dishes served to my 7 person party were exquisite. You could tell they don't usually get groups on a weekday. The poor waitress was flustered at times but did a good job for handling the rare weekday pressure of a group that takes up about half the restaurant ordering appetizers several rounds of drinks and large Entrees . If you have a group of 5 or more you should probably call ahead and reserve their one large table that can accommodate the demand.“
