We have been twice and each time we are so happy we chose the Blue Heron. Yesterday was my birthday and we had John as our server. He was SO great. His poetic descriptions of the menu options were amazing. He brought the foods to us before we even ordered. The food flavors were some of the best we have ever had. Goodness how we love this place ??.

For those of us who came to U.S. to study, the menu items that can only be eaten here will leave you feeling very satisfied. The dish that impressed me the most was the butternut and apple soup.Of all the American restaurants I've visited, this one is all delicious. However, there are many dishes in the United States that are considered salty. As you get used to salty dishes, you can take them home and add vegetables to dilute the salt. The menu items that can only be eaten here will leave you feeling very satisfied. The dish that impressed me the most was the butternut and apple soup.Driving while feeling the long autumn nights. Walking along the paths, visiting here, and savoring the delicious food will relieve your daily fatigue. The lush green streets are soothing.

Pricey, overrated, and nothing spectacular. The food was underwhelming, service was slow (really, really slow), restrooms are near tables where people eat, and what we ordered was at its core ordinarily prepared though dressed-up pork and swordfish. Nothing exceptional and it ultimately seemed like it could've been made easily at home. Unimpressed. There was nothing notable or overly positive/negative about the experience. I usually review on Yelp when something experienced is exceptionally good or exceptionally poor. This experience was barely tepid. It left me with no reason to go back.

A true farm to table dining experience in the Pioneer Valley! My wife and I have been going the Blue Heron for years and always have a great time. The service and food is consistently excellent with ingredients from local farmers. Blue Heron offers an upscale dining experience and is very close to Mount Sugarloaf, Tree House Brewing Company, Yankee Candle and more! I highly recommend the Ricotta & Honey small plate and Curried Vegetable Tian although there isn't anything on their menu I wouldn't try. The Chocolate Truffle Torte with espresso ice cream is a great way to finish a perfect meal!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options never tasted so good. I am not sure if it is available all the time but the Curried Vegetable Tian is fantastic!Dietary restrictions: While they offer a wide range of choices, many are gluten-free and vegetarian or vegan-friendly.

Waited over an hour for our entrees even though the restaurant was not very busy for a Friday night. the risoto was luke warm and the fish was over cooked.
Fabulous experience! We had fresh Opah and the fish was prepared exquisitely to perfection. Our appetizer and dessert were also top quality. Service was superb. We went to celebrate my wife's birthday and we will be back again and again.

Best restaurant in the Valley. Attention to detail with every dish. The menu is just right, something to please everyone. Great wine list. Delicious deserts. Service is outstanding; our server was very accommodating and thoughtful.
