Used to be great but not so much anymore. Not a lot of baked goods and more Brazilian type food.

This is one of our very favorite places to eat when we are on the Vineyard. They always have several delicious vegan options on their menu. On our most recent visit, I had the mushroom meatloaf, and my husband had the coconut tofu, and both were just fabulous. We look forward to our next visit. Highly recommended.

Classic spot to get a sandwich. It was amazing in 2008 and isn’t as amazing now. Wish it was open later cause it was cool to get a dinner plate there to share with a lady or a friend. Kinda grumpy stoned childish staff but I guess that’s the vibe. Did you know I was trouble when I walked in? The coffee is bad but it’s the most consistent thing on the menu. I love this place and I’m ordering a sandwich right now.
Service is slow and unfriendly. No recipes like the original Scottish Bakehouse- no where is the giant, melt in your mouth Portuguese loaf or the hockey puck dense (but soooo delicious) scones. Not going back

It was disappointing, no longer a bakery, more like a sandwich pick up place for workers. The pastries they had we few and small.

The everything egg sandwich is awesome. Many times here. Lastime it was awesome but the outside of the bottom half of my english muffin was still almost as cold as if it came out of the fridge. But once in a while stuff happens. I love love this place. You will too.

The melt in your mouth gluten free brownies and the shortbread pie crusts and cookies make this bakery a regular stop during the week. Prepared breakfast and lunch served here too.
Well Scottish Bakehouse, here we are again, and you are once more in need of a less than stellar review. As I do every year, I patronize the Scottish Bakehouse until they annoy me to the level that not only requires I stop buying their food, but also leave them a review. After waiting 45 minutes for a few sandwiches and a stir-fry dish I was rewarded with a mediocre meal that was unbecoming of the Scottish Bakehouse. The wait itself was absurd. Even for a sit down meal, this would be considered a long wait. To top it off, the Scottish Bakehouse was in fact not busy with only a couple other people waiting on the porch for their meals. The amount of chicken in the stir-fry dis can only be described as measly. They certainly didn’t have any trouble filling it with plain rice, the proportions need to be adjusted. Come on Scottish Bakehouse. Do better. I know you can do better.

With so many great options for takeaway meals and sandwiches on MVY, I’d recommend driving by this one. The food is overpriced and average. The staff is rude. The cookies are delicious! Staff pro tip: it’s never a good look to be rude and condescending to customers.

MVY has some great options for takeaway sandwiches and meals. Recommend skipping this overpriced location with average food and rude staff. Staff pro tip: it’s never a good look to be rude or condescending to a customer who has waited more than 15+ minutes for their order. The best approach is to simply apologize and resolve the issue.

Overpriced, average food, rude staff. The cookies are worth a stop but suggest going to one of the other wonderful options on MVY for sandwiches and other food options. Staff Pro tip: it's never a good look to be rude or condescending to a customer, particularly one who has waited 15+ minutes for their order. Simply apologize for the inconvenience and make it right.

Very bad service. Lady at cashier on 07/23/2023 2:50 PM was on really bad mood. Coffee wasn't even hot, it was barely warm. Would give zero stars if I could.
