Terrible establishment. Worked there and there are bugs and rodents that run freely in the kitchen. I've witnessed wait staff put spoons in the ice cream eat it then proceed to use the same spoon to get more ice cream out of the machine. The lack of cleanliness is outrageous if this was any establishment i worked in prior i or anyone in charge would be fired effective immediately. If the board of health seen the way the kitchen looked after a friday night it would be shut down until the board of health allowed them to reopen.

What a gem. Food was amazing. Nothing like fresh pasta. My carbonara was delish. All at our table where pleased with the service,food and atmosphere.
Website states open 4pm. Arrived 4:15. Told we don’t open until 5pm. Returned 5:10 to an empty restaurant and patio and they sat us at the bar. Really small bar. We left won’t attempt again.

This place is AMAZING. The service is 10/10 the food was 12/10, the drinks were great. Such a great and friendly vibe in here. We came here for an anniversary dinner and had such a special and amazing dinner. Our waitress, Naida, was so friendly and made us feel so welcome, helped us with the menu, and didn't make us feel rushed at all. If you're looking for a delicious Italian restaurant on the island this is the place to try!! Will be returning to try different pastas next time

The Linguini Scampi had a delicious and perfectly sized portion with just the right amount of shrimp, shallot, garlic, parsley, crushed pepper and the perfect level of heat. The chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and whip cream is a must if you love sweet! Additionally, the bread (no photo) was very good, fresh, and warm. The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff were attentive.

We had planned on going to Giordano’s, but once we arrived on Marthas Vineyard the website said dinning room closed for season. Was able last minute to get reservation here on the website which is done through RESY. This is our 30th Wedding Anniversary trip … I specified in our request that this was our anniversary and we would like a nice table with a view if possible. When we arrived, they had our reservation, but initially offered us probably the worst table in the restaurant, we did get a better table, but no mention of our Anniversary. Not a big deal, but the small things are the difference between 4 and 5 star rating. Food and service were awesome!
Third time for us at Salvatore's..and we're happy to say they continue to offer a really nice dining experience. Service was attentive and friendly, dinks and food came at a comfortable pace, and overall..we'd give the evening an A- rating. Strong points included delicious eggplant parmesan, TAGLIATELLE SALVATORE (house special) and GNOCCHI ALLA SORRENTINA. Accompanying bread service was tasty, as was the QUATTRO DI BRUSCHETTA. The only two less-than-excellent points were the uneven tables (we were on the back patio and the metal tables were wobbly) and the fairly limited "by the glass" wine offerings. Other than that...it was a very nice evening out.

What an epic evening at Salvatore’s! We were promptly seated on the back patio and the all of staff were attentive without being intrusive. Ambience was cozy and a perfect setting for our party of six. There were a variety selections made within our group and everyone gave a 5-star review. I had the Seared Duck with Porcini Mushroom Risotto and it was cooked to perfection. Looking forward to my next visit!

I had two wonderful experiences at Salvatore’s this summer - a birthday celebration dinner for 12 friends, and a lovely family dinner for three. The food is consistently outstanding, the atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the service is amazing. Petra, our waitress, was extremely nice and professional and made us feel very welcome. I recommend the antipasto appetizer platter to share. And you can’t go wrong with any of their pasta dishes. The squash blossoms are a must try!
