We had dinner on Wednesday, March 13th. Josie was our waitress. She was very personable and attentive throughout the time we were there. Outstanding service. I will definitely request her the next time I dine at Artichokes. She even escorted my Mom out the door when we left.The food was absolutely delicious! Very fresh and large portions. You will definitely have leftovers. We shared a lobster tail between four of us and it was plenty. Dessert was delicious too. The cream filling was fresh and the puff pastry was cooked perfectly. Josie made a fresh pot of coffee to go with our dessert. It completed the whole meal.It was a lovely dinner and dining experience. Thank you to the chef and a special thanks to Josie. We look foward to our next visit.

I have been coming here for years! Every dish I'v ever got here has been absolutely delicious! Huge portions perfect for leftovers. Drinks and food are to die for. Staff is extremely friendly! One of my favorite restaurants in the area!

It was very crowded last night, but we had reservations. She brought us downstairs, but since the table was set for 3, I guess we couldn't sit there. She then offered us the bar. To me, when I make a reservation somewhere, it is for a table, not a bar seat where I have to turn sideways to talk to my husband. So, I said no and she brought us back upstairs. We got a table stuck in a corner with barely enough room to sit. Didn't take any photos because I couldn't really reach my phone and there wasn't space on the small table for it either. We started with the special appetizer of meatballs. Those were the best part of the meal! Very flavorful. I got the chicken broccoli ziti and there was just something off about the sauce that I just couldn't enjoy. The broccoli could have been cooked a little more and the chicken was way overcooked and hard to chew. I didn't eat much. My husband got the chicken parm and he said it was just okay; nothing to write home about. Our server was nice and attentive. Not sure we'll be back.

I ordered chicken Marsala. The chicken was dry and very hard to chew. The waitress acted cold and looked like she'd rather be anywhere else but there !! The Ambiance was nice. But I went for food, not the look of the place. I will never go back.

I ordered chicken Marsala. I had a hard time cutting through the chicken. No flavor at all. The service was ok, but the waitress wasn't friendly at all!!!! The Ambiance was very nice. I won't go there again. I've had much better chicken Marsala at Prince of pizza!!!!! And Sandy is full of it. Worst chicken Marsala I've ever had. Don't waste your money going there!!!! Sandy must be a relative of the restaurant.

Lisa the bartender provided outstanding service. Her recommendation s were “spot on”. I had the frutti de Mer which was loaded with calamari mussels clams scallops and shrimp. She suggested that if I didn’t want marinara I could have garlic butter sauce which was awesome. I will b back. The best restaurant I’ve been to in a long time!

Artichokes is a great local spot with the feel of a dinner just as nice in the north end! Every detail is perfect from the wait staff clearing crumbs off your table, to the food & drinks! I recommend this spot to all of my friends and family. It’s one of the top 2 Italian spots in Wakefield! The atmosphere is great too.
