“Just tried the Italian on a braided roll (after reading the reviews). It was EASILY the best Italian sub I’ve ever had, not to mention reasonably priced. If you’re considering trying P&K, don’t hesitate, I will definitely be coming back.“
“A hidden ?,In Boston.Eastie.Nicky, is very compassionate & goes above and beyond for his customers. One of the best Italian subs in Boston, He will even separate the vegetables oil So that way the subs don't get soggy upon request and will not hesitate to accommodate his customers. Please put Carmella's on your go to ✔️ list.“
“High-end gourmet deli! Catered lunch for 12 on 2 consecutive days. Pinwheel wrap tray and All-American cold cut platter were each a lovely presentation and delicious. Many complements from the meeting attendees! Would order again. Thank you!Parking: Not a lot of spots but no difficulty finding an empty space at lunch time.“
“I moved to the area about six months ago and Meridian has been my go-to lunch place - I cannot recommend it enough. The food is incredible (especially the chicken caesar, Meridian special, meatballs and chicken limon) but literally everything I’ve tried is incredible. Very homey inside as well!“
“Had a burger plate with fries and rings; delicious for a good price! No frills - it's a hole in the wall place - but good food made fresh to order with great service. The style that reminds me of some of the great small town burger joints I've had over the years - not the gastropubs and brewery/restaurants that seem to be way more common in Metro Boston. Bravo!“
“OMG, The italian sub is full and I mean full of top quality meats. If you order a large you can not finish it in 1 sitting. I always thought New Deal in Revere set the bar on Italian subs but Anthonys takes the prize on this one. PS. I heard the eggplant parm sub is also the best you ever had! Worth the drive from any where!“
“We took a trip to Boston from Minnesota. We have been contemplating relocating from the boring Minnesota life. The man behind the deli counter and the young lady behind the register treated us like family. This deli and the whole town is so kind. He even gave our daughter a free pickle from the deli. Thank you, genuinely for the hospitality and assuring us that this is where we want to live.“
“Clean, well organized corner grocery store and deli. Friendly and well staffed. The store is small, but not tiny. With that in mind they can't stock everything, however, all the basics are there and fresh with a few unique items. I appreciated being asked if I needed help a few times on my 10 minute visit. Keep up the friendly customer service!“
“Catering. Chicken parm, eggplant parm & raviolis were excellent. Got chicken florentine too, ehhh. Expected it to come like the parm.(same price) chicken topped w spinach & cheese & sauce. But it was all chopped up & loaded with ziti. It was mostly a pasta dish. The biggest offense w it for me was that it had red peppers in it. Yuck. My fault I guess cuz I assumed it would be like I have had everywhere else. Everything else I ordered was delicious & eaten. Only thing I took home was a full tray of of the Florentine which will go bad cuz I don't like peppers. Prices are good too.“
“This was my first time here and I ordered an Italian sub. Just about every deli makes this sandwich and can be easily critiqued. The sub was a solid 4 stars. I would give it a 5-star if they provided just a little more meat. Everything else was great…just the right amount of lettuce, onions, hot peppers, oil and vinegar. The bread was also fresh. I also like their menu options.“
“Fresh off an early flight in from Texas and we wanted to find a yummy deli. Yelp was spot on on this one. Easy parking. Great food. Loved the ladies helping us order. Recommend the Turkey club. I opted for a side salad instead of all the rest of the side options. Salad was loaded with sliced onions and carrots and a tasty Vinaigrette dressing. Quick in and out and a tummy pleaser.“
“While visiting Boston I was looking for a good Italian sammie. After reading lots of reviews, I settled on Milano's and I'm glad I did! The staff was fantastic, as a chatty midwesterner I always want to talk, but the people of Boston do not. Once they found out I was from out of town they wanted to give me all the food advice, and were absolutely the sweetest. I had the Italian Grande, the Arancini, and a ricotta canoli. The sandwich was probably the best Italian sammie I've ever had, and I think my favorite meal in Boston overall. Just sad I didn't get to grab a sandwich on my way out of town.“
“Hadn't been there since they moved off of Route one. Amazing sausage, selection, the mostly northern European style (no 'nduja, which I was hoping they'd have). Excellent Canadian bacon and, next time, will try their smoked pork chops. Prices reasonable.“
“First time ordering after getting menu in the mailbox. Ordered small cheeseburger with fries pizza. Added lettuce and bacon. It was fantastic. Good distribution of meat and other toppings, our customizations were honored without question. I will be back!“
“Love the cafeteria style, & have never had a bad visit - food is great & quick!Parking: loads of spots, but also loads of businesses. plus smaller lot at corner & parking available on most side streets.the foods definitely worth the parking spot hunt! :)Wheelchair accessibility: low sidewalks - there are ramp sections but its easy enough to get up and over, especially if you have an extra person“
