Very unfortunate. This was my very first time here. I even made a reservation to do Easter for my kids. We waited 57 minutes for the food just to see our food. Be given to the table next to us. The people even told the server they did not even order that and the Waitress automatically cashed us out without giving an explanation. No apologies from the manager. still paid for the drinks, which is fine by. Pretty much saying screw us. We don't get nothing. Guarantee the people next us got our food complimentary because they didn't order that, but they were eating it

I got there early, was sitting at the bar waiting for my party. They dropped some cornbread next to me. I thinks to myself, nice, complimentary snacks while I'm waiting. Nope, when I got the bill, they charged me nine bucks for food I didn't order, and didn't like, as it was polluted with jalapenos. My party arrives, get seated, order food. I ordered fried chicken, and since you could get it plain or Louisiana style, I ordered plain, as I don't like spicy foods. Food came out really quickly from the kitchen. Unfortunately they had liberally splashed it with hot sauce, which is not plain. I asked the server and he confirmed that it was plain. I sent it back untouched. At least the Mac and cheese was tasty, and the iced tea was good.I asked my server when I got the bill, what was with the cornbread for nine bucks. He said I had gotten someone else's cornbread while sitting at the bar, so they charged me for it. If they gotta charge you for misdelivered food, that is a sign of bad management.Music was nice, atmosphere was good, but I'm never going back.

Tried out The Porch last night and was so pleasantly surprised! There was a live band playing so the ambiance was great. They had run out of hush puppies so we got the honey butter biscuits instead and they were great. We got a brisket tray and a rib tray, each came with 2 sides, and split everything. There was not a single disappointment in the bunch, everything was amazing! I thought Smoke Shop was my favorite bbq in Boston but The Porch just took its spot. Can't wait to come back!

Nice atmosphere, decent live music. Food wasn't great though. The wings were tasty but dry, the fried chicken was ok but nothing great, Mac n cheese super salty and slaw good. I really, really wanted to like it as they have everything to be a great place.

There are few other places where live music accompanies a nice, filling meal. The ox tail and gumbo are fantastic choices. For dessert, we were happy with the butter cake and the beighnets. Alongside that, if it matters to you, their whisky list is extensive so go ahead and buy a pour of something you've been wanting to try.Parking: Limited number of dedicated spots for this restaurant that are located right next to the entrance.

Good live music, but the layout is odd with nowhere to sit in front of the stage. Food leaves a lot to be desired; dry and lacking flavor.

This place is amazing! I came in for trivia and I had a great time. The staff members were super kind and friendly, and I loved the energy of the place. I got the Vegan BBQ jackfruit, smoked carrots and fries to go, and I couldn't have been happier. It's so nice that a BBQ joint has a vegan option that's actually delicious! I used to live in Los Angeles, and I had jackfruit all the time there, since it's basically the vegan capital of the US. I can definitely say The Porch makes better jackfruit. I can't wait to try more of their food, because I will for sure be back.

second time going , food is incredible and a blessing to have a bbq spot like this is MA, and 10 minutes away from my house (dangerous). so far i’ve had the nachos both times, the brisket is so tender and delicous, i’ve had a chicken sandwich and it was very similar to nashville i was pleased and also tried the french dip it was one of the best i’ve ever had. my only complaint is the live music is so loud it’s hard to talk with friends and hard to focus on anything but that, if they could turn down the amps just a little would be great otherwise this place is 5/5 stars!

The food is ok, the set up is awesome, the staff is consistently weak, pretentious and just unfriendly. Charging a cover to listen to below average ridiculously loud music is out of control. This place could be great but the owner needs to make some changes for sure.

When I went with a friend, it was fairly empty and we didn't realize that would mean they'd close early, but TBF it was post Christmas and before new years. Food was pretty good. Beer selection was expected. It's a very long place, trekking to get to the bathroom (we totally thought we were going in a restricted area). I could see this place being popular at times, but I just didn't experience it. Next time I suppose

The food is good and they have good IPA beer. The best thing was the band (Music) everything together makes for a good experience.

I’m going to be brutally honest. I literally NEVER leave a review buuuuuut the food is uncultured, unseasoned, and the cornbread tastes fresh out the freezer. The Mac was all cream no cheese. I’m sorry but yea definitely not worth it for those who’s looking for flavored

Great food, great service great live southern style music every night! If you're here in Medford, Mass. this would be a great stop for a cold beer, and skillfully blended drinks. Oh, don't miss the $2 PBRs

There are few restaurants I will return to over and over again, while enjoying my experience and food every time! If you’re looking for good fried catfish, this is your place! The roasted Brussels sprouts are also heavenly and the drinks have a moderate pour. Not to mention that live music makes everything even better! Check this place out! You won’t be disappointed.
