This place is a hidden gem the food is amazing the staff is amazing the atmosphere is amazing if you want to go to a place and have a great meal, great atmosphere a fun time go to the 204 Washington Street Walpole, Ma. This place has been around for ever. I've been living in Walpole for over 30 years I can't say enough about this place. Come in and try it at least once and I'll bet you'll be back again and again. It's not a chain it's a hometown restaurant with a great staff, great food, great atmosphere come support the 204 you'll love the place.Parking: Plenty of parking lot all aroundKid-friendliness: It's definitely a kid friendly Place they've got great french fries and chicken fingers for the kidsWheelchair accessibility: It's on street level so it is a handicapped accessible

Server 30 was a fantastic waitress. She was extremely busy and yet provided us with prompt, friendly service. We would give her more than 5 stars if we could. Super job!!

Not impressed old timey looking place clean pleasant enough. Ordered the fish and chips fish(haddock?) was not fresh at all and paper thin , great if you like breading. Will not be returning.Waitress was going thru the motions.

I love the vibe and build out/finish here and friendliness of the bartender that usually works and customers and that people eat at the bar including couples. I am sick of the lack of effort with the food and keeping things in stock and staffing. Everyone else in Walpole and Norwood area has figured it out and there is no excuse anymore. I went in Saturday 4/29 about 6:00 to 6:30 and I wanted the white fish dinner I saw people having and I was told they were temporarily out, I asked if someone went fishing for it and the bartender said sort of and, we are out of a scrod but out buying more, which was the fish you saw, temporarily out, then walked away. Came back and I ordered the fish and chips which menu says is made with fresh haddock and bartender was annoyed, and said she told me they were out of scrod and I held up the menu and pointed out that menu said it was fresh haddock. She was annoyed again and walked away and said as she she left that they were out of fish like she said before. I left $3.00 for my unsweetened ice tea and walked away. Always a headache in here with not being able to make what they choose to be on menu and any given night they may close due to staffing. Will never go back. Clueless.

I live in So. Carolina and here visiting family. We had dinner and I had fried clams. They were great! I miss the seafood here in New England. I will be sure to stop here every time I come up north.

Great local restaurant with strong following of regulars. Cozy atmosphere, reasonable prices , friendly wait staff.Good variety and usually 2-3 specials.Tuesday ladies nite , 1/2 off one ladies meal when dining with someon e else.

Disappointing to say the least. I ordered steak tips with mashed and broccoli. It was just ok not worth going out for small side of mashed and broccoli was steamed not sautéed as described when ordering . My wife ordered a Mississippi Marsala the chicken in it seemed boiled bland no seasoning was not served with pasta which seem strange Bread plates and butter packets were put on table even though no bread or rolls were served. Just a very disappointing experience since we now there are quality restaurants in the area.
