Pretty meh. The food was okay. Nothing unique or special or delicious. Food was moderately overpriced. Drinks were extremely overpriced. Charging Boston proper prices for cocktails. Cocktail was as much as my salad entree. Service was standard for an Applebee's, which this was on par with. Just a bit nicer location and

I have eaten here twice for late lunches and would highly recommend.Recommendations:Buffalo pizza (neither of us like bell peppers on our pizza and didn’t realize it came with those so we just picked them off. The he rest of the pizza was super goodPastrami sandwichFrench dip sandwichPulled pork sandwich- this has my southern girl seal of approval. Bursting with flavor but not dripping in sauce. Eat it quick before it has a chance to get soggyPretzel sticks as an appDrinks: they make their cocktails strong- recommend trying holiday flavors and the Moscow MooseFacility:Bright and cleanOutside seating in nice weatherBar booth and table seating indoorsHas a window up front for takeout ordersPlenty of parkingGood for couples, families and solo.Atmosphere is casual but nice so you could dress up or down and not feel out of place

We dined in with 3 adults and an infant. The service was wonderful and they were very accommodating. However, the food was subpar. We had fries, which were fine, and wings, which were disappointing. They had hardly any buffalo sauce and were very dry and flavorless. I tolerated them okay, but one member of our group had minor gastrointestinal distress in the hours following, making me wonder if perhaps the wings could have been cooked longer.

Sat at the bar, probably should make a reservation for a table next time earlier. Bartenders were quick with drinks and orders. The turkey burgers were delicious and everything coming out of the kitchen looked great!

I don’t know how this place has 4 stars. The waiter came by every 3 minutes for the whole meal; constantly checking on the food or asking us to order before we finished reviewing the menu. They brought us our appetizer and not even 5 minutes later, way before we finished, they had brought entrees (after complaining the apps were comped, at least). During entrees, they had come by to try and take our plates well before we finished and asked multiple times if we wanted boxes. It felt like were being pushed out and rushed through our meal. Our appetizers were mediocre at best; the calamari was cooked in old oil (we know this because they were brown and not golden, and if they had been overcooked they would have been rubbery) and the nachos had basically nothing on them (it felt like I was eating just chips with cheese and salsa). The entrees were a massive disappointment: the ribeye was overcooked (medium-well instead of medium), bland, and had horrible sides (the mash potatoes were disgusting, at the green beans were decent), the sirloin tips were even more overcooked (well-done when ordered medium-rare) and had the same awful sides, and the crab cakes were just okay.

We were rushed out of the restaurant. Our main meal was brought to us 2 min after they brought appetizers. We did not even finish eating and they already wanted to take our plates. Meat was overcooked and salad was overpowered with dressing. Nachos were empty. Barely any toppings. Almost as if we're eating just chips with salsa. Will not come back to this restaurant.

We had an event at The Mighty Squirrel and chose to try this restaurant's menu. We ordered the spicy calamari (not spicy and no flavor, VERY greasy), zucchini sticks (not sticks, but slices, over fried, VERY greasy), and a Caesar salad with no dressing (there was a bug on the cheese). We spent $60 and had to throw half of it away. We ordered take out and the staff was friendly and patient. Walking through the venue to use the restroom, the atmosphere seemed cozy, and relaxed.

City Street Restaurant exceeded my expectations! The delicious food left my taste buds delighted. A special shoutout to our server, Taylor, for providing great service. The lively atmosphere, complete with big televisions featuring Boston and New England sports teams, added to the overall enjoyment. Plus, the reasonable prices make it a definite go-to spot--I'll be returning for sure!
