1st time visitor, my grandson (4) loved his chicken fingers & fries and (of course) his ice cream. His Mom loved her buffalo chicken fingers & onion rings, I loved the fish & chips. More than enough food, we all had plenty to bring home. Friendly service as well. We'll be back, good value in this day and age.

Negative reviews for this place, including my own, are being false reported and deleted. Despite this, I might as well at least try to get mine back up, just for the sake of saying “at least I tried”. I’ll cut out the parts where I (justifiably) insult the manager, but, aside from that, there’s really nothing about my review that I’d really say might need changing.The owner of this restaurant “has the heart of a child and lacks the skills that are necessary for regulating his emotions”. When my brother worked for him, he got yelled at for an hour straight. The manager accused him of stalking women, and having a hitlist. He said that he hoped he was wrong about the accusations he was making, but if he wasn’t, then he would kill my brother. Along with this, he started ranting about things that were completely unrelated. He started saying that he was in debt, and he complained about transgenders, despite the fact that my brother isn’t trans.This supposedly isn’t the only time he’s done something like this, and I’ve been told that he still does this from time to time to this day. The latest situation that I’ve heard of, was when he yelled at a couple of new employees while banging his hands against the table. This is the kind of behavior I’d find from a “person who lacks the necessary skills that are required for self care”, and not a business owner.On a side note, this restaurant isn’t sanitary. That’s not just my opinion, cause it’s failed health inspection before. From what I’ve heard, employees would find things like rodents and bugs all over their workplace. This isn’t surprising, because I’ve gotten sick from eating their food on multiple occasions.

Food is decent , ice cream is good but prices should be less and the speed of service is crazy slow. Waited so long that my family and I all got annoyed and wanted to just leave but we already paid so we're forced to stay and wait.

I was out and about last night and was really hungry so I decided to go grab a bite to eat. I thought I haven't been to Kool Kone since I was a teenager and I haven't lived in the area in over 25 years . I was pleasantly surprised with how fresh the food was and how fresh the Cole Slaw was too. I ordered the Seafood Platter with a Large drink ( market value prices ) 37.00 I will say it's very well worth the money. The only thing I didn't like was there was no obvious trash receptacle but luckily a few nice customers said they go outside. Other than that everything was amazing. You do get your monies worth with the prices they charge

Ok so basically I highly recommend not working here and here is why, the boss Tom is a total rude jerk he treats his workers with very rude attitude. When I was working there I tried my hardest the other workers too but I was the one to get blamed for it all he said” I never did anything” well that’s funny because he wasn’t there but on top of that my co-worker was only there to be on his phone and I was getting paid but I did most of the work but Mel was the best there I wish she could of been the boss bc Tom was an worst boss he tried to lecture my grandparents and stuff also he kept saying stuff that made no sense I personally don’t like it there and also there is this one dude who worked in the kitchen who I did not like either he needed anger management. But everyone else was super nice and stuff I tried my best there but I just couldn’t put up with Tom yelling at me when I did the stuff and he is a liar he said he was yelling at the sink when my grandmother asked but he wasn’t he was looking at me and my co-worker screaming.

I love the wide variety of choices at kool kone,great hot dogs,fries, shepherds pie, but my go to is a scallop plate. The scallops always taste so fresh,tender and sweet. Also, the onion rings are to die for,,they are thin, crispy and delicious. The staff at the window are friendly and the service is quick. Makes me want to jump in my car now and go, yum!
