The last 3 times I tried to order on Uber Eats, it got canceled because they "can't get to my order right now" and both times didn't attempt to contact me to explain. Do they no longer accept delivery orders? Or do they just prioritize their in-person customers at the expense of those who order online.

I went there a few times before and liked the food and atmosphere. However, the last visit wasn't as good as before. Food was bland and overdone. Not a good experience this time ?

Beware!! This place was great, tacos were huge, lots of beer selections, BBQ was very good (for a non 100% BBQ place, aint no Blue Ribbon). BUT - they sneak a 3% fee in your check. I found this does NOT go to your waitstaff, leaving them perhaps with less tip if you think it did and is just a shady add-on that goes to the restaurant without any transparency. If you tell your waiter to take it off, they will without any pushback. Shame on you City Works. Just charge me more for food, don't screw me and potentially your own employees.

Very good choice for a Sunday early lunch. Lots of good choices...service was a bit slow.Great choice of fresh beer and designer cocktails.Parking: Parking can be a challenge to get close. If you're patient, you can wait for a spot in the close p-lot or just go to the garage.

The bartender Trevor is very attentive. He remembers us and our favorites which is becoming rare these days. On multiple occasions, the fries were not fresh and he would replace them quickly without taking the entire order back. They have good food and a great beer selection. I am mainly writing this review due to excellent service from Trevor. We appreciate him very much!

It’s a sports restaurant and bar with many huge screens showing games and matches. Good food, great selection of beers and good (spots) atmosphere if that’s what you are after. The overall price was too much in my opinion. We had two flights of 4 beers (8 small beers in total) and two sandwiches and our bill came to $99 including $14 tip. Overall we enjoyed the experience as tourists.

It’s a very nice place , the noice is a bit loud so it’s difficult to listen people in the same table. But is a good place to watch matches and take some beers. Really good beers and the list of them is huge! That’s really good. The food is good as well . Prices are ok.But the waiters always look like stressed or in a bad mood. But other than that everything is ok . Good place.Look at my Scorpion Burger!!

We love City Works! The food and the service is always great. Their tacos are all good along with the baby back ribs and salmon dinners. Drinks are always made the way I like them. We'll keep coming back.

Mario was our waiter. He was great. We were a party of 5 with a 2 year old. He was so kind, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Service was prompt as busy as it was. He went above and beyond.

I went here for brunch very excited after looking at the menu online. Sadly, I was disappointed. The chefs cannot cook eggs properly. I ordered a meal that had sunny side up eggs. The eggs came with the whites wet, gooey and completely uncooked. Not wanting to risk getting sick, I informed our waitress. She asked if I wanted the egg cooked through. I explained no, I just wanted a sunny side up egg (runny yolk) with the whites cooked. Simple, I could do that at home. She said she’s not going to ask them to make it that way because it will come out the same. That should have been my first red flag. She said instead she going to tell the chefs to do it over medium. It came out the opposite end of the spectrum, completely cooked through yolks included. They were terrible and I left without eating my meal. Definitely a waste of money and don’t plan on returning for brunch. Had to spend more money getting a meal somewhere else.I also was disappointed to see a 3% surcharge on the bill. It would be nice to inform customers of this beforehand instead of blindsiding them when they get the payment receipt. You cannot even review the bill before paying because they use an electronic machine that only says the price.

Decided to use 4 stars as 3.5 stars was not an option. Seating was quick and friendly and the menu was better than expected for the style of place City Works is. Tons of free parking right at/in Arsenal Yards including the garage. Great for bad weather days.Nice atmosphere (Sports bar Plus) and there were many, many BIG screens to watch current games from all over the world. Liked the spacing of the tables as well, and you had some choices of booths, raised tables.Big enough menu, but I would like to see a slightly larger one, and for a "beer" place, not a big enough selection, but I give them credit for choosing fairly well. Tastes win out slightly over branding. I like that.Service was good, above average, but not outstanding. (3.5)Pulled pork: Decent taste, but it was a little dry; it needed the three sauces to finish quickly. Hard to eat without the sauces though. (3.0)BBQ Wings: I really liked them, charred, bbq, dry rub style. I will give them a 4 out of 5, but if you are a hardcore bbq wings person, you will probably give them a 3. (4.0)Corn on the Cob: Fantastic! (4.5)Ribs: Need their own review, but plenty of meat on the bones, good flavor, worth getting but WAY TOO DRY; Wish I could score them higher but they are about a (3.25)Sausage links: Good. (3.5)Sauces: Good Selection, but not spicy enoughBeans: Very, very good, but bbq sauce was too sweet for my taste. Most people would say (4.0I would go back again, just not going to be a regular here. Great for small groups and meet-ups with friends and co-workers though. A little expensive for me, one meal and one beverage with tax and tip was over $50. If you are from the South or the Midwest, you will have a lower rating than I gave it, except for the corn and the beverages and atmosphere.Major props for trying hard though.(Very, very clean; Great bathrooms; A very, very well run place)Overall: 3.5 starsParking: Easy and free and plenty of it.
