I grabbed some apricot pies and it was delicious. The gentleman was very kind and good at explaining everything.

I’m Jewish, have eaten challah all my life. By far the most vile loaf of challah I’ve ever bought. I spit it out and threw away the whole $7 loaf.

Stopped in here for breakfast and was greeted with the kindest woman and the best challah I’ve ever had in my life. Absolutely worth stopping by!

We popped in here for some pastries one morning, and I'm so glad that we did! I think it's rare to find this kind of old school bakery. This one cookie made from almond paste honey and slivered almonds was awesome. They also have these jam filled sandwich cookies that my boyfriend devoured (I didn't even get to try one), and some very tasty looking babka. I grabbed some mini challah rolls to go. They're a little sweet- to me, they're a nice sweet treat on their own. The owner at the counter is so lovely- making special treats for her customers, like a grandma for her grandkids. She said to try the fruit babka in the colder months- can't wait to try those!

I always go to this place to eat the delectable food that the helpful staff prepares. Thank you for this restaurant.

Some of the best challah bread in the area (on Cheryl Ann's bakery level) and honey cake you'll find. Breads are incredible and have a wide selection

I was warmly greeted & waited on this morning by a friendly employee. He answered my questions regarding ingredients to avoid nut allergies and made a wonderful recommendation of a cake layered with creme & sweetened with honey. It was moist, not heavy or as rich as you might imagine. A perfect balance and delicious treat. Ample parking directly across the street as well as curb side. A complete delight.

Bread is really good, we bought their seeded and rye a couple of times now. The owner is super friendly, she gave us to try their macaroon-style pastries and cake, and even though I wasn’t planning to buy sweets, we couldn’t resist buying macaroons for our gathering later that day. Absolutely delicious! (good prices too)

Don't even bother. We were very excited to try the blueberry babka until we got home, tried it, and realized that it was entirely empty bread with just a couple of blueberries on top. Nothing at all through the rest of it. The bread isn't even particularly flavorful. We'll be throwing the rest of this away and buying babka that's actually worth eating from Blacker's tomorrow just to counter the disappointment that came from buying this.

The shop keeper was super nice and the mini challah rolls are amazing; faintly sweet and would go great with custard or peanut butter (or just on its own)! They're a great deal and would definitely come back:)
