Food was good but the bathroom was horrendous. Seriously haven’t seen this dirty of a bathroom since traveling and stopping at rest stops.

Seriously disappointed. I'm so tired of restaurants treating DoorDash customers like we don't matter as much as folks sitting in the restaurant. Almost $100 and y'all can't cut up the veggies and the meat. I get it DoorDash isn't great to the restaurants they work with but take it up with DoorDash not your customers.I'm so tired of letting it slide because of how not okay DoorDash is to y'all. Come up with another delivery option then... Maybe one of your own so we're not upcharged for every single item. How do I get no pineapples on sweet and sour chicken? It was a special order because I'm allergic to some things which is why I'm guessing they cut up the vegetables and chicken separate but they didn't even cut them.If I wanted a meal that I spent half the effort on I could've had my PCA cook it. I'm a disabled person that needs a good meal every now and again and for this to happen multiple times now to one of the few times I can eat out is so angering. It's sad because this is normally my favorite meal from y'all because your allergy friendly so I know what it's supposed to be like. So to have this happen multiple times is so disappointing. I love Not your average Joe's but it's starting to become average.*Edited to addWe gave it another go today my birthday and if it could've been worse it was. I'm so sad this is my favorite meal and my go to as a disabled person when I just don't have the energy to cookDietary restrictions: They do gluten-free and allow substitutions and for things to be removed so that's supposed to be allergy friendly... But I feel like you get punished when you make a special request... Which is sad when you have allergies and don't have an option but to make a special request.

4 of us had a wonderful lunch experience at NYAJ. We were seated right away, had a very attentive waitress and all the food was excellent and brought out very quickly. We always love coming to NYAJ for all those reasons. Good food, good service and good ambience.

Unfortunately the worst NYAJ experience I've had in many visits - and had three guests with me who were all unhappy with the visit. The food was not up to standard - the steak tips tough, burger tasted weird, super crunch salad short on chicken, which was tough. Service fine, but overwhelming impressions were of the blasting freezing cold A/C on a cold, windy day - had to wrap ourselves in scarves and jackets. Finally, the rest rooms are an absolute horror. Apparently open to passersby, easily accessible by street, stall doors unreliable, tons of toilet paper on floor, no soap at sinks but sinktops soaking with water. (ladies room). This has been a problem for years, but with all the other problems, I think this was my last visit.

We waited a long long time for the bread and our drinks. Our meals came 1 min after we got bread and drinks. The few waiters- waitresses have to many tables. Last time was very slow as well. The food was very good though. I got chicken piccata and friend had a korean beef bowl. Had peanut butter thing for dessert. We split that as usual except that the dessert is now about half the original size. It tasted great though. We'll definitely be back.

Very strange situation. The manager definitely lost control. We made the reservation, but they don't have available table. They told us: you have to wait around 20 minutes. In the end, we had to leave the restaurant after 30 minutes waiting. Nobody called us.

NYAJ's in Watertown is my go to place with friends. There's plenty of parking out back, it's conveniently located, and the staff is always fun and friendly. I love the menu staples and enjoy seeing new additions and seasonal menu options. I do wish they would bring back my favorite dish, which was the pan-seared scallops with Israeli couscous and veggies, it was heavenly!

My wife ordered risotto with scallops and shrimp. I ordered a margherita pizza. The risotto was delivered along with a Mediteranian pizza. By the time the correct pizza was delivered, my wife had finished her meal. Not good.

Wouldn't go back again. The food in general was mediocre, with the exception of the warm bread with olive oil that was absolutely delicious. And the service was just okay (specifically our waitress).

Just ordered this for take out... it was a birthday meal too. Not a good as it normally has been in the past. I was disappointed. Smaller portion of fish (slightly undercooked too) and cost more. The mashed potatoes were also not good. I feel like i got a serving that was scraped from the bottom of the pan... kinda dry and crusty. And they were sweet tasting for some reason. They used to taste better... and more savory.

We had the most wonderful waitress, Hailey, that made our birthday celebration memorable. She was attentive, cheerful and extremely thoughtful to the birthday person. Thanks for making it a great night.

Very good food, but the noise level is very high.

Chowder came out lukewarm. They replaced it quickly. Bread was cold. Supposed to bring more but didn't. Green beans weren't cooked. Jambalaya was very good. Nice wait staff. Usually have better meals there
