Sevan carries a wide selection of Armenian, Turkish, and other Mediterranean origin products, some hard to find elsewhere. Also some baked goods and salads made in-house--OK, but not great.One complaint: they add a 3.5% "convenience fee" when you pay by credit card. This fee is illegal in Massachusetts (see M.G.L. c. 255D). There is a small sign stating this policy, but it is placed at waist hight and it is difficult to read without dropping on your knees.When told the fee was illegal in Mass., the lady at the cash register said they were told by their credit card processor that they could the fee. I paid by cash, but the next time I plan to dispute the fee with my credit card company.

Great selection, friendly staff, family business. My favorite are the vegetarian grape stuffed leaves, their pastrami and all their pickled veggies.

Fabulous food!!!! Lahmajune! ❤️ I always stop here when I'm in town. Everything is fresh, excellent quality. The best dates, raisins, spices,etc. Lots of choices for different feta cheeses. Try the feta and red pepper spread! My fave! Friendly people!!!

I used to shop here with my family for years. It has been 31 years since my return. We stopped in for cheeses, dips and other Armenian treats. The selection is expansive and the service, friendly and helpful. I did not see a lot of food from Armenian but certainly "Aegean" and other med areas. I may have missed some.

I've tried the baklava from several bakeries in Watertown and this is my favorite!! It's not too sweet or sticky, the texture and flavor are perfect. I don't think you can go wrong with any flavor, but I really like the pistachio in the nest shape.

This is my 'go-to' place for the classic eastern Mediterranean food. I've been going here for nearly thirty years. I don't know anywhere else that I can get such a good selection of Greek cheeses. The owners are friendly.
