Giving 5 stars for the excellent service I received!! My experiences are from both Dine-In and Take-Out. I've noticed it has only been Al and the same bartender & food runner/busser working; or at least the times I've come in. As someone who has worked in the food industry, I believe they all handle a busy rush pretty well. The food gets sent out quickly, and it comes hot! The last thing I want to think about while hungry at a restaurant is how long the food is going to take, but never do I have to worry about it here. My favorite dish is the Fruit Shrimp (their version of coconut or honey walnut shrimp). Hot & sour soup tasted as it should. I asked for scallions on the side to pair with it. I wish the Crab Rangoons had less cream cheese, with more onions/scallions--I think the ratio would be perfect after! I had extra scallions on the side from the soup, so I ate it with the Crab Rangoons. Still good. Staff were very on top of getting the check in & out, as well as bussing the table. Awesome job China Rose!

Under new ownership. The food was pretty good but the wait staff is not and they don't even have milk to make a kahluha

I’m not sure about the food here anymore. It feels like they cut ingredients to save on costs. My pork fried rice and lo mein were bland and missing basic ingredients (ex no bean sprouts in pork fried rice as pictured in their menu). Apps are fine. Probably need to find a new place for take

I am delighted to express my gratitude for the outstanding service provided by China Rose on New Year's Day. Despite the obvious challenges of a busy holiday, the staff managed to deliver an exceptional dining experience.Understanding the demands of New Year's Day, I was impressed by the team's dedication to providing top-notch service to everyone. While it's understandable that certain menu items were unavailable due to the day's high traffic, I appreciate the transparency and professionalism displayed by the staff in managing expectations. The American Chinese cuisine here has always been a favorite of mine. Moreover, I must commend the team for their excellent drink offerings. The flavors they create always surprise me. It's refreshing to find a place that not only excels in its culinary offerings but also pays attention to creating a delightful beverage selection.

We came in on New Year’s Day because their website says they offer sushi and Chinese food. They do not offer sushi. Strike 1. Their menu says their combo plates are not available on certain holidays, one being New Year’s Eve, but they don’t list New Year’s Day. They wouldn’t do a combo plate. Strike 2. The food we did order (orange chicken, plain lo mein, vegetable spring rolls) were fine. The orange chicken was spicer than expected and the vegetable spring rolls were dripping in oil and virtually inedible. And when the check came, only 2 fortune cookies were provided even though there were 3 of us in my party. Needless to say, we will not be back.

I came here for dinner after seeing the pictures. The real thing looks better than the pictures. It tastes very good and the portions are large. I was also given a small snack. The service was really good. I will come again next time.??

I recently dined at this restaurant, and I must say, the change in ownership has made a world of difference! The new management has elevated every aspect of the dining experience.First and foremost, the food has seen a remarkable improvement. The dishes are not only presented beautifully but also taste absolutely delicious. Equally impressive is the service. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. They are eager to assist with any questions or recommendations, which adds a personal touch to the visit. It's clear that the new management places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.

I went there last weekend to see what the hype was all about and I have to say I was very impressed.. food and drinks were good.. service was excellent.. I order beef fried rice, lobster sauce, salt n pepper wings amongst other appetizers. The food was fresh.. the ambience was good too.. the new owners are great and very social.. if you live in the Wayland area you need to visit China Rose.. you won’t be disappointed…

While the name is the same as it has been for years - this restaurant is under new ownership as of August 2023. The menu has been revamped adding in some really tasty new dishes but they’ve kept all the popular menu items. Favorite staff members that have been here for years have stayed. Everything we’ve eaten has been delicious, warm, and fast. I’ll specifically call out that the pupu for two will easily feed 4, the Peking duck was so moist and tender, and the house made teriyaki salmon was some of the best I’ve had. Huge tv’s in the bar area are great for sports. Separate takeout counter seems to keep things very organized. We tried a new mai tai recipe they have been experimenting with and it was DELICIOUS! Would definitely recommend!Wheelchair accessibility: All one level and easy access from parking lot.

??I've only been here once, but my pork lo mein lunch special was on point! Love the lighting, so I will likely come back for a drink at the bar another night. Very friendly staff.

This had the worst pad thai. fried rice was good but questionable. Food arrived and the conatiner had so much oil, it seeped through the contained and bag... This is a below average chinese spot to get food from. You have many more options around, go to those
