There are many cities providing live catches to local buyers in Eastern MA. Capt. Marden's sources the best fish, regardless of who caught it.A lot of people do not realize how many of the finest restaurants source their seafood from Captain Marden's too. They have refrigerator trucks delivering fresh catch to many local places.If you are near Wellesley, the small restaurant serves the best dine-in and takeout around for a very fair price!

Tried their lobster rolls during our school’s alumni event. It was fantastic! The roll was filled with lobster meat and was tasted very tasty and flavourful!

I've mostly had take out from the Wellesley restaurant location and it's consistently good, but not especially remarkable. The place always seems full at dinner service, which is a good sign. A little pricy (which seems to be the norm these days), but the quality is consistently good. Crab cakes are very good.

Went out to dinner here with my sister and brother in-law who live in the next town over and had been here many times. Was a little bit of a wait but it was a Friday night and the place was hopping, and after ordering the food my wife and I could see why. They waiter came over and gave us corn bread to start with, which we thought was weird instead of regular bread, but it was so good especially with butter. We then order the clam chowder and onion rings as a starter. Chowder was nice and plenty of clams in it. The onion rings were light and crisp. We then shared the fisherman's platter which were plenty enough for the two of us. The fish, scallops, clams and shrimp was nice and fresh, breading was light and not to corn mealy like other places we have been. Service was great, staff were nice and friendly. We will be back next time we are in the area for sure.
