Never have I ever felt so chinese before in my entire life. Its as if god had this place sent down straight from heaven, giving me this opportunity to feel what its like to be chinese and what a great life is like. Out of every chinese restaurant, this place has left me ascending only because of a singular slurp of chicken lo mein.

Got my first take out there yesterday and it was delicious. Most flavorful Chinese food i’ve had in a long time. Based on this i’ll definitely be back again.

The food came super fast, which should have been my first red flag. The food had ZERO flavor. The crabrangoons most definitely were cooked at lunch and barely, the pineapple fried rice was so over cooked the kernels broke and the rice was mush, everything was honestly just not good at all. I’ll never be back.

This place used to be good decades ago after they first opened up. The lemon chicken from then to now is like night and day. Now the chicken tastes like it was overcooked yesterday, refrigerated and nuked to death before purchase. Not saying that's what they do but that's what it tastes like. Every year or so I go back desperate for some nearby Asian food, hoping they've gone back to their previous quality. Haven't been pleasantly surprised for at least 20 years. The service is usually kind so i feel bad for them.

Blue Orchid is our local go-to for Chinese take-out. I would give their food a solid 4- - they use chicken breasts, and their lo mein is not too oily or salty. My kids love their noodles. I always order delivery through Door Dash, and our food is always delivered within 30 minutes and for that, I given an extra star!
