“So adorable and such delicious treats.I love the artwork and the welcome written up the staircase and the chandelier and the displays. Eveyrthing is so artsy and cute.I tried the apricot and the Nutella treats and got the cookies for a friends family. They do have gluten free too, and there’s parking to the side.“
“Consistently good meal. This Panera is well run and delivers a properly made sandwich and full bowl of soup. The “2fer” deal is the best on the menu.Love the seasonal Autumn Squash soup and the Veggie Sandwich on Sourdough.RecommendVegetarian options: There is enough here for any vegetarianParking: Parking out front“
“The staff at Brassica are so knowledgeable, fun, and friendly. They bump the best playlists, joke with you, discuss taste preferences, honor allergies, and are actually excited to provide a good dining experience. It's truly a neighborhood gem that I want to gatekeep so badly but will not because everyone deserves this level of stellar dining and the team here deserves to succeed! The food is funky with a heavy focus on fermentation along with honing culinary techniques from around the world without trying to put out “Asian food” or “Latin cuisine” or “fusion”, just their own creations. They make spirits in house (turns out I can like vermouth!) and source wines from places most others restaurants don’t dare to cover. It’s where I bring all my visitors if I can snag a table!“
“This is a must stop whenever I visit Boston. Forget the north end canolli wars, Third Cliff pastries are the best. I first went in for the coffee, now I find the pastries bring me back.Vegetarian options: They also have Vegan and GF alternatives.Parking: There is short term parking but typical Boston challenges, it's worth it.“
“Ahmed, the owner, is a great and generous man. He has created a perfect place if you want to go somewhere with a great atmosphere, where the staff is friendly and accommodating to all needs. I have been there a few times now and every time have felt welcome, and have been served excellent food. Their breakfast sandwiches are perfect if you need a quick bite to eat before work, or if you go for lunch their menu is excellent offering a wide variety of selections. I honestly would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for something great to eat in the Brighton area of Boston.“
“If you're on the hunt for a hidden breakfast gem, this place is a must-try! Not only is the food delicious and visually appealing, but their extensive selection of flavorful teas and robust coffees is sure to impress any caffeine aficionado. The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxing, making it a perfect spot to get some work done or simply enjoy a leisurely meal. The staff is always friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. When it comes to the menu, you can't go wrong with the grilled cheese – it's a savory delight. And for those with a sweet tooth, the waffles with ice cream are an absolute must – truly to die for! Additionally, the pricing is perfect, making it an excellent value for such high-quality offerings.I highly recommend you check this place out; it's a real treat. My favorite new coffee spot.Parking: It's in the mall so there's plenty of parking“
“I have been to Japonaise for nearly 3 decades and all other locations they used to own. This little gem is operated by Takeo and his mom. Pure labor of love. Takeo works as primary baker. Everything here are delicious from breads, pastries, cakes, and some savory - Japanese delicacies. Takeo works very very long hours everyday making all of these. Wonderful folks. Asuki cream is my all time favorite.“
“Atmosphere is excellent, super relaxed and pleasant. Cushions for sitting available at some spots. Employees always happy to talk and try to educate about the food and tea. The tea is excellent and the variety is great. The food is delicious, I love the quality of the sauces in the Mediterranean platter.“
“This was my first ever Tatte location I went to. It was warm out so I sat outside for a nice view. Got the prosciutto toast with pesto and goat cheese and now it’s my go to Tatte dish. Their honey halva house latte is a must try too - also my go to Tatte drink.“
“This place is very warm and friendly. The food is awesome but the service is the best. The girls are all very quick and do an amazing job when the place is packed on a Saturday morning. I have moved away, but will drive back into town to enjoy the homemade corn beef scrambled egg special with jalapeños.“
“I stopped in here with a friend after a long walk and I'm so glad we went here. We got there not too much before closing, but they were just as friendly and accommodating as if we got there first thing. They have a ton of options, including plenty for vegetarians and vegans. I got the breakfast burrito (as I am seemingly always craving one) and my friend got the caprese. I was tempted by the treats they had in the display case, but we opted just to get our sandwich/burrito. Our food came out quickly and was perfectly made. I really appreciated that the egg in my burrito was bodega-style which made it so much less messy to eat. My friend practically devoured her sandwich; she thought the maple balsamic was so tasty and the veggies and pesto were really fresh. She has food allergies and was really happy with how much they laid out what was and wasn't in the food. They had convenient parking and plenty of outdoor tables. I will definitely come back when I'm in town.“
“Finally, got to try This place. They had soft Opening which was not to best. The ordering process was pretty smooth . The wait was not to long. We got the infamous Sho-Gun Matcha/Vanilla Soft Serve Mix With Edible 24K gold , Maiko Special (Parfait) Hojicha/Strawberry Mix Soft Serve and Matcha Latte Float. Everything was so rich in favor. The matcha favor is probably the best that I had so far. You can taste the quality of the soft serve. It's a bit pricy but worth every penny. Definitely, need to try them out“
“This is a good coffee shop. It has a friendly staff, good food, and is physically clean. The only downside is that the morning staff sometimes plays loud, banging rock that is the opposite of morning calm. This happens a lot and may drive away folks who are either older or want to read or do work. When the music is obnoxious, go to Caffe Nero in JP.“
“Great really creative coffees and teas. Highly recommend the pastries too. Filipina owned! The only downside is the space is a little small, so a great spot to grab a coffee and quick bite (they have breakfast sandwiches too!) and then walk around.“
“Recreo is truly special. I don’t visit nearly as often as I’d like due to my work schedule, but every time I do it’s a highlight in my day. Recreo is known as West Roxbury’s living room and it’s easy to see why. The owners Hector and Miriam have created a welcoming space for all to stop in and connect over coffee from the family farm in Nicaragua. Truly from farm to your cup! The barista team is friendly, knowledgeable and committed to making top quality hand crafted beverages. My favorite is a whole milk latte with an extra shot. I usually enjoy a mixed berry scone or mini blueberry loaf with it. Baked goods are made locally and are always fresh and tasty. There’s also a great selection beans for sale (freshly roasted on site). Eden has given me great suggestions on what to try at home for cold brew!“
“There's no other place I rather grab breakfast from. When I first met Mike, he greeted me like family. The BEC sandwich I ordered was one of the best I've ever had and ever since, this place has been my go to. You won't be disappointed.“
“They made a slight mistake with our order initially but made up by giving us 2 free items and discounting 20% off. They go above and beyond for their service and their food truly was amazing. Best Italian food I’ve had in a while. Bolognese was so good. A hidden gem in “
“The menu is quite expansive, so this is a good catering option. I love middle eastern/Mediterranean food, so I’ve tried a lot of different places in Boston. Compared to other places, I wouldn’t say Sultana’s makes the cut for my favorites, but it wasn’t bad.- Spinach feta quiche: The portion size is good, but the flavor was bland. I wasn’t able to finish it.- Cookies: The cookies weren’t overly sweet, which I liked. They were crumbly yet soft.- Fruit yogurt pastry: This was my favorite. I liked that they are bite-sized (though, this is also dangerous because you’ll end up eating a lot). The pastry was flaky, and the yogurt was sweet, which balanced the tartness of the fruits.- Caprice acma: I wasn’t a fan of this. The acma was too doughy. Maybe it would have tasted better warm.Happy to have tried a new place, but I probably wouldn’t come back.“
“I loved the vibe. Soooo much quieter and calmer and friendlier than a Starbucks or Dunkin, even though the place was filled with people coming in and out. Everyone spoke quieter. You could actually work here. Also, the food options were so creative, and the server got excited with me about experimenting, and we made a peach blossom lemonade, which was divine :-).I think one mark of a good cafe is how they let their customers enjoy and customize foods and drinks, and this place gets 5 stars!!!“
“Indulge in the finest glass of orange juice in Norwood, MA, at Sunrise Breakfast! ?? This charming, family-owned establishment boasts a warm and welcoming atmosphere. From the friendly owner to the delicious food, including delightful GF French toast and pancakes, every visit is a delight. Sunrise Breakfast is one of my top breakfast spots in Norwood!“
“Had a very nice time here, staff was extremely friendly and accommodating for our young kids. Food was good we ate every bite! Only reason for not 5 stars was the shock of the price of my wife’s single waffle with a few berries (see pic) it was 17$! Besides that all was great and would go back for sure.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and crayons were available.“
“Cafe Fresh is amazing! I am obsessed with their bacon and egg sandwich. It’s so simple but so delicious. The way they cook the egg hits in such a good way. The staff is awesome as well! Yes, it’s chaotic but it’s an old school bagel shop. It gets busy, but in the end I’ve had nothing but positive experiences here.“
“A board game lover's heaven. I could spend hours and hours learning and playing new board games, and the price to enter is super reasonable ($15 on weekends)! They have a huge selection, including some games that are not sold in the US. Staff is knowledgeable and nice. I also love that you can bring your own snacks and alcohol.“
“Great restaurant for breakfast or lunch! Prices are very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food they're serving. The servers are friendly and accommodating. They were very understanding about my parent who has dementia.... Served her soup as soon as it was ready as requested, brought more hot chocolate as needed and they waved every time my mother waved at them. As my teenaged daughter says: "they know how to serve old people."The food was very good. I had their berry strudel French toast (lots of fresh strawberries and strawberry ricotta cheese on challah French toast) was absolutely delicious - I liked it without syrup. The rest of my party had corned beef hash and eggs, cheeseburger, panini, and lemon chicken rice soup. All was so good, we didn't have any leftovers!Metered street parking only.Handicap access: zero steps (ramped entryway); everything, including large bathrooms, on one level.Wheelchair accessibility: Zero steps (ramped entryway); everything, including large bathrooms, on one level.“
“I love the Cafe Landwer chain. I’ve been to this location and the back bay one several times and it has never disappointed. The staff is always friendly, place has wonderful and bright decor, and the food is always fresh like the hummus. We got the Landwer’s Shakshuka, the Buttermilk Waffles, and the lentil soup.“
“The prepared items from Judith's Kitchen are some of the healthiest and most delicious foods you will find anywhere and at such reasonable prices!! We are from out of state, but will return each time we are back to see my surgeon. The salmon burger, the black bean burger, the coleslaw, the potato salad, the lentil soup, the roasted vegetables, and literally everything else are just fabulous!!! The owners are precious people and treat us with such warmth. I can't recommend this restaurant more highly. I just wish they would relocate to upstate New York!“
“The Vietnamese rolls were delicious and the peanut sauce was some of the best I’ve had! I also tried a few bites of different pastries (I love to sample).I tried the apricot almond cinnamon roll, the raspberry coconut pastry bites and the sugar cookies.Everything I tried was fabulous, AND they have Harney and Sons Tea (excellent choice, and my favorite next to The Republic of Tea), so I had an almond milk Turmeric Ginger Latte, which hit the spot as well! You can taste that all ingredients are real, and the food is a decent price in spite which is good because I will definitely be back.“
“If you’re looking for a place that’s clean, safe, and FUN to go highly recommend. Awesome food and drinks ($5 sandwiches during happy hour!), lovely outdoor patio dining, and there are still games available to play sanitized between people! So happy to come back here again and get the same great service.“
“Food was absolutely excellent, flavor was very well blended. Service cannot be complained about as I just ordered my food and picked it up. Not much else to add as it was a quick trip in and out, however the food was definitely worth mentioning. Also has decent Gluten Free (GF) options!“
“Best breakfast in Stoughton the home fries are fantastic all the menu is great service is top notch all the staff cook’s waitresses and the owner all very friendly nice atmosphere that you realize as soon as you walk in highly recommend to go there coffee is great quick in and out if you dine in or take to go really enjoyed as a new customer“
“Pricey but I appreciate their emphasis on transparency and seasonal locally sourced vegetarian and vegan offerings. It’s very clear from their website what has meat, egg, dairy or various allergens in it. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Their breakfast sandwiches with the soft eggs, those are something else. I wish I had a place like this back home.Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarian. A few things are vegan but you need to check the details on each item to be sure.“
“I’ve heard so many locals say Tatte was overrated and I have never been lied to like this. If I could eat bake goods everyday of my life I’d get the blueberry cheesecake cup. I dream of it sometimes, it makes sense why Zendaya and Tom ate at one of the locations. Would also recommend either the Muesli or the roasted pear granola! Chefs kisses honestly“
“Super cute and spacious cafe for a quick bite to eat. This Tatte location is my go-to when I'm visiting Longwood. The service is always great, and I usually go for the chicken pita. It's very delicious, packed with chicken and fresh veggies, and I really enjoy the tzaziki sauce. It's a little bit messy, but delicious regardless. I'm looking forward to trying their coffees and drinks next time!“
“French Press Bakery & Cafe is an absolute gem that not only surpassed our expectations but left an indelible mark on our private event. We hosted a company cocktail hour-style gathering, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The food at French Press is outrageously delicious. From meticulously crafted charcuterie boards to sumptuous salmon platters and delightful veggie assortments, every bite was a journey through flavor paradise. The dessert selection was equally impressive, providing a sweet crescendo to an already remarkable culinary experience. The curated menu, customized with the expertise of French Press Bakery & Cafe's owner Jay, showcased the commitment to meeting our specific needs and preferences. French Press recently underwent renovations, which has catapulted the establishment to the next level of sophistication. The glorious outdoor seating area is a testament to thoughtful design, offering a delightful atmosphere for patrons to savor their culinary delights during sunshine seasons. Moreover, the prices are incredibly fair, providing excellent value for the quality and variety of offerings. Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee or hosting a grand event, French Press is sure to leave you with a lasting impression of culinary excellence and hospitality.“
“My favorite little local cafe! This place is amazing - the baked goods are delicious, they do really yummy breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and the coffee is also fabulous. All around favorite spot to stop on my way to work, especially on free avocado Fridays!“
“Coleen will immediately make you feel part of her community. We popped in for brunch on a recommendation and we're so happy we did. Small town community feel in the heart of Brookline. Excellent food, fair pricing, owner operated; and you can see she's well loved in the community. I will always come back here if I'm in the area looking for a bite to eat and a break.“
“Been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The schnitzel? Best in the Boston. Sandwiches? Best in Boston. Everything else? Best in Boston. If you want a delicious, nutritious, and tasty lunch breakfast or dinner come here. unlike they say in forest gump, "life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gonna get." In landwer cafe you always know that what your gonna get. A delicious meal.“
“We were craving breakfast food and this was the spot we chose which was perfect bc it was close to the hotel. Everyone ordered their basic 2 egg breakfast, I ordered their Mediterranean Menemen/Shaksuka which was delicious. 1 less star bc the home fries were a bit too soggy for our taste. Both the lady who sat us and the gentleman who took our order were very very kind. I would definitely recommend.“
“My partner and I ate/worked at Coffee Turco and loved it. Would definitely recommend and will be returning. Our server Amir was incredibly kind and helpful. I ate most my food too fast to grab a photo but will attach photos of what I could.“
“Stopped by on a late Monday morning looking for a late breakfast. Had a croissant breakfast sandwich with egg and cheese. Also had a waffle plate. There are company by fresh fruit, which is very tasty. Nice selection of coffee and drink options. I went for a cappuccino which hit the spot.“
“The sheer undertaking of a full-scale bakery and cafe with all traditional offerings but fully gluten-free is impressive. The sandwich bread was quite dense, and the tacos were obviously gluten free (not the exact taste or texture of traditional flour tortillas) but eveyrthing was delicious, and the lovely green and vibrant decor was beautiful.I also tried a chocolate chip cookie. You couldn’t tell that was gluten free.Highly recommend!“
“My review is 3.5 but bumping it up for service and donuts. I was visiting my friend in Brighton when he suggested we grab breakfast here; he's a regular. I got the pancakes/eggs/potatoes/meat combo but they were willing to swap out the meat for toast as I'm a vegetarian. I was happy they were up for that as the menu says no substitutions. My friend got the garlic, broccoli, and cheese omelet. My food was fine, nothing too special, although I did find a sizeable eggshell in my food which put me off finishing the eggs. My pancakes weren't very fluffy but still good, and the potatoes weren't as crispy as I'd asked for. The service was great though. It wasn't busy so they were prompt, but not on top of us. They were very friendly and personable. Our meal was really well-priced, especially for Boston, which was great. And the donuts. They have a full display case of fresh donuts that just call out to you. My friend got a chocolate glazed and I got a honey dip and a bowtie. They smelled incredible and tasted even better. I'd go back, but maybe examine my eggs a bit more before eating.“
“I love Blue Moon Cafe so much. The vibe in here is always so welcoming. The staff is wonderful as well. Aside from bagels they have a huge selection of baked goods and amazing sandwiches. They have vegan cream cheese. My favorite is the “Montreal Bagel” that is an egg bagel with poppy seeds in the dough, and sesames on top. And the “Big Blue Bagel” which is a plain blue swirled bagel. The proceeds from this bagel go to a local Medfield charity. The coffee is also delicious!“
“Love the customer service, great Black owned Business. Nice Art on the Walls and health yet great options for something sweat. Love the Acai bowls and the drinks are something worth tryingVegetarian options: Most things are vegetarian by default like acai bowls, milkshakes and ice cream just because it would be werid if they had meat in it.Dietary restrictions: Non-dairy options great for those who can't have dairy“
“Cecilia is the best.My order was being delivered with a missing item, she called me immediately and she personally sent another Uber with the missing item and gave me a free cookie.Everything was perfect the warm bowls are so savory and healthy and taste amazing!“
“Highly recommend the Blueberry and Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins! Get there early, muffins go fast!!Coffee is good with a bunch of flavors to choose from. Pastries look amazing and will be returning to try those.Only a few parking spots in back and limited seating available. Spot is mainly for takeout. Friendly staff as well. A great local spot for coffee and treats!“
“Mel's is a busy, bustling diner with lots of great menu options. My family has frequented Mel's for many years. Their food is even delicious as takeout to eat at home! Their eggs benedict and bagel sandwiches are to die for. We also love their silver dollar pancakes.“
“I have always had good experiences here until tonight. I came in and ordered my bubble tea and sat down to wait. 20 minutes went by and I asked when my drink would be ready and they didn’t know I had ordered, despite that I did in fact order with them. They apologized and refunded me and made my tea. After I left I realized there was no boba in the tea. I was the only one in the shop for the entire 30 minute trip. I will continue to go back here because the bubble tea is so amazing, but tonight was a disappointing and strange experience.“
“Right on the center of Dedham Square and conveniently opening everyday at 5:30A, this local bagel shop is serving the best and freshest bagels in town, and by fresh I mean literally baked fresh, daily. On this early saturday morning my husband and I arrived at 8A and thankfully only had to wait in a 10min (meaning: we got lucky) we ordered the bacon and egg plain cheese bagel and the ham and egg and cheese plain bagel. We gave them both a (5/5) . We also tried the iced coffee and the regular hot coffee but as Miamians and Hispanics we're giving that a (-0) I'M SORRY!! It was the worse coffee I've ever had. I really hope Bostonians have better coffee- that was horrible. The service was honestly fast and friendly for how full it was and we loved the mom and pop ambiance. If we're ever back in Boston, we'll be back.“
“The process of booking for my SIL’s baby shower was easy from start to finish. I had no idea what I was doing in terms of how much and what to order. I gave Karen an idea of what we wanted and she took it and made a great selection of food.Everyone I spoke to at the party raved about the food, especially the quiche and the scones! The fruit on the fruit salad was all so ripe even with it being February!“
