Great hangout spot they have small appetizers and nice selection of beers. You can test or drink. They also have some boardgames and sometimes live entertainment.

I was at an event here and my battery died in my car, we were unable to open the hood, AAA was even here and they couldn't. They are getting ready for another event, and even though it's pouring rain they wouldn't let me leave my stuff in there, just over to the side or somewhere. I do understand they are having another event, but it's pouring rain out, I can't open my trunk so I can't get all my stuff in which means it's getting ruined. I don't see any reason they couldn't help us out and let us leave our stuff in there, off to the side, out of the way. I'm just super disappointed and heard they were very rude about the whole situation. Sometimes you just need to make exceptions and help people out when it's really needed. I can't imagine anyone at the next event would be mad my stuff was off to the side in the corner out of the way knowing our situation. Maybe it's just me. But I would have found a way to help out in some way to put the stuff until the tow truck came.

Bartenders were very friendly and welcoming, other people at bar were also were friendly. Went for trivia and it was fair but could’ve been less guessing type questions. Great beer selection, they also have board games and other events/clubs
We had a wonderful time at Barrell Z House this past Saturday. Our bartender, dressed in Germany garb for Oktoberfest, was so friendly and helpful. We had our little dog Ella with us and was made to feel welcome. Our bartender even brought us a fresh bowl of water for her. We got some delicious sirloin sliders for us and doggie biscuits with PB for Ella from the food truck. My husband and I enjoyed the IPA. We tasted two different types, one more fruity and aroma, the other more hoppy. We’re hop heads and both agreed that the more hoppy one was our fav!
They have a nice, shady outdoor area with Adirondack chairs, a great space to soak up the beer and sunshine these early fall days.

I hosted a 50th birthday at Barrel House Z and it was fantastic! Excellent communication, perfect location for a party with underage guests and even dogs!Our guests were all very pleased and comfortable. The bartenders were the most pleasant, hospitable, friendly, hardworking gentlemen who somehow managed to keep the flow going with us, plus a separate event going on and plenty of other very happy patrons!We had food catered and delivered by Tennessee BBQ in Braintree and cake delivered by Sugah Sweet Bakery in Rockland. The staff received everything for us before we got there with care and professionalism.I was treated so kindly that I was able to enjoy the gathering, which says a lot when you're planning something like this.Everything was perfect.I couldn't have asked for a better atmosphere and experience!
