Went to JST on 3/30/24 with large party. Server, Antoinette, who we learned has been there 20+ years, greeted us with a smile that lasted through her entire attentive service to our experience. With a new owner, the newly done decor would make TLC’s “Restaurant Impossible“ proud. The bar was full, but separated from the dining area, so that ambiance was alive but not overwhelming.Everyone at our table complimented the food presentation, flavor, and amount on their plates (Yes, doggy bags were requested at meals’ end.),The 2 plates of Calamari were golden in color and cooked just right. The accompanying tomato sauce was thick and hearty (“Just like Momma makes.”). We did sample each other’s plates (From their presentations, how could we not?). The meatballs were flavorful with the right hint of sausage. Spaghetti cooked to our discerning Italian Uncle’s complete approval. Salmon was generous and baked just right showing visual succulence, steaks tips were many and juicy. And the sausage cacciatore was so flavorfu, consumption only ended when the doggy bags arrived. We sampled and really enjoyed almost all of the decadent desserts including Crème Brûlée, Tiramisu, and Chocolate Lava Cake.Anthony, the manager, checked in with us more than once. He was affable without the overbearing of Artie from The Sopranos. We’ll definitely be back next week. The pricing was more than fair, and we can’t wait to try their breakfasts.Definitely recommend you go. You’ll be more than satisfied and happy and probably leave wondering “Why can’t they be open on Mondays?”

We hadn't been to Jackson Square Tavern in a while and were glad we came back. We appreciated the pictures of old Jackson Square in this local bar/restaurant. We sat at the bar; the Blue Moon Belgian White beers, garnished with orange were refreshing. The winter salad with goat cheese, craisins, squash, and walnuts was served with a sweet-tart vinaigrette. I would have preferred larger chunks of warm roasted squash. The fish sandwich had a large piece of flaky fish with a crunchy exterior. The bartender was pleasant and efficient. We will surely frequent Jackson Square Tavern more often.

We have been there many times. It was our go to place when we wanted to go to a local place with great prices and good food. We would order a little bit of wine and have two senior meals at $12.99 each. Great value. We used to pay between $50 and $60, all in.Tonight we had 2 dinners, wine and soda and spent $83.The base (and Only) wine is $11 a glass...6 oz.. That's what the Venetian charges right around the corner. It's an upscale restaurant.Salmon $23. Fish/chips $21. The food was good, but $2 more each than '99. We get 9 oz wine there for about $10.50.They need to come down on their prices or improve their atmosphere. They need a house wine for $7 or $8 a glass. We will stick with Ocean Kai for a cheap night.

Food service was great but unfortunately there was a regular man at the bar that was loud rude and vulgar something I don't need to listen

My wife and I decided to try the Jackson Square Tavern under new ownership. The inside is renovated with a warm and inviting atmosphere. I had a very flavorful Maple glazed salmon entree (cooked perfectly). My wife had the beer battered chicken. Both dishes were very flavorful and excellent quality. Service was excellent, prices are very reasonable. The bartender also made a very good Manhattan. We will definately be back.

Absolutely horrible experience! Waited 20 minutes before even being acknowledged, wasn't busy at the time, my food came out with no silverware while the bartender was hand out silverware to people without food!!! Then had to wait a half an hour before my wife's food came out!! Very unprof ignorant staff! I wouldn't take my worst enemy there!! An absolute disgrace!!
