We’ve ordered food through Uber Eats twice now from the Venetian Restaurant and both times the food has been absolutely amazing!! It is expensive, but in my opinion worth every penny!! This is the most authentic and delicious Italian food on the South Shore. Highly recommend the Braised Short Ribs, Chicken Ziti Broccoli, and their Meatballs are superb!!! 5 Stars!!

I use to go into the Venetian a couple times a month but the prices are just expensive for me now. I understand it cost money to treat your girlfriend and yourself to get out every now and then. Especially after this covid. But I've found several places either right here in Weymouth or a town over going in any direction. I can go into anyone of these places. Have a beer or cocktail before dinner. Then enjoy a nice dinner with a full belly. Enjoy talking to staff pay the bill. Tip the waiter or waitress. And head home. All for probably half of what I would of spent at the Venetian. I understand there in the buissness to make money. But there's gotta be a limit to what your asking for. For the chic Parm. Or the single pork chop. You can only squeeze the chicken so much. You can add names that I can't even pronounce but it's still a chicken. Sorry. Just my opinion

Great first time experience. The food was delicious and we were thankful to get a same day reservation. Awesome place for date night.

What a disgrace to the Venetian name The waitress was wonderful Order a New York strip medium rare It was well done and over priced for the sad piece of meat on the lonely white plate with the cold side of I don’t know what it was Waitress returned it to the kitchen Came back cut in half and was told this is medium rare No it’s was well done dry as saw dust Party of 8 over priced Portion sucked Not worth it What a sad experience

The remodel is nice but the food was such a disappointment worst chicken Parmesan my husband and I ever had. It was overcooked and very little sauce. Told the server and they said they were sorry but we were not offered another meal or any compensation. My old fashioned was very weak. A little pricey for the location. Not planning to go back.

We just had the most delicious dinner tonight at the Venetian. The atmosphere was so fun, and perfect for our kids. The food was to die for. Highly recommend the antipasto board and homemade meatballs. We had the chefs special which was a creamy pesto dish, and it was absolute perfection. And our evening was only made better by our amazing server, Cindy. She really made the whole night for us. We can’t wait to come back soon!

Last night my wife and I decided to have dinner out. We chose the Venetian as we're new to Weymouth . It was excellent! We could smell the garlic on the side walk and after sitting down I chose the pan seared scallops and my wife selected egg plant parm. We had cannolis for dessert and 75 wine Cabernet. Our waitresses Natalie and the chef Paul we really great! We'll be going there again soon. A new place to go for Italian! Can't wait to try the steak and other Italian dinners! You won't be sorry!

I had been at the Venetian many times before the change in ownership. As a matter of fact it was the last restaurant I took my Mom to before she became incapable of walking/getting out. I have wonderful memories of our last pizza together. While it is not the same Venetion that I took Mom to, my sister and I had a wonderful meal/visit. I has the short ribs with mashed potatoes and spinach. The ribs were melt in you mouth delicious and I loved the mashed. My sister thoroughly enjoyed her chicken, broccoli & ziti. We sat at the bar and I have to say that the bartenders, Natalie and Octavia were fabulous! They made us feel welcomed immediately. Highly recommend!

New owners kept none of what the vibe of the Venetian was about. I get the update of the physical space. Ok. Fine. But the menu is all upscale and this was an institution of Weymouth for years. Nary a nod to anything that made the name. This place had a limited selection that wasn't worth the price. I'm sure all these glowing reviews aren't from the legions of fans the real Venetian had. No mushroom sauce, no antipasto, vinegar pepps?? Fahhh geddda bout it. Really.

I've lived in Weymouth my whole life. The old Venetian may have been a staple to some. But for younger folks, we saw it as a restaurant for the older crowd. I never found the food to be worth going back to. Not trying to bash the old Venetian but it just would never be on my list of restaurants to go to. The new Venetian however, is such an amazing improvement. I have gone a few times now and every time has been a delight. The decor is so much nicer and refreshed. I especially love the decor in the function room. The servers do their jobs very well with a smile. Our waters were always kept full. Never had to wait long for the next round of drinks. I am a big fan of the chicken Marsala myself. My mother always gets the short ribs and they are very tasty. The calamari I can tell was fresh and not frozen. Drinks are delicious. Tiramisu was delicious. It's a bit pricey, but you really are getting great quality food. And you will get enough to take home. The Venetian is now our go to Italian spot for the future!

Wow. We had a little impromptu date night tonight and decided on the Venentian. Let me qualify this review by saying I have been eating at this establishment since I was a baby - literally. The Pica family made this place a local favorite. Definitely big shoes to fill. With the Papachristo's reputation in the restaurant industry, I was expecting something special. It takes a surgical hand to refine a local legend without losing the original "nostalgia" that it was long known for. After tonight's meal, I can confidently say: "Well Done". The old school feel has been brightened up with swanky new upholstered seating and far better lighting. Again, if you have been to the "Old Venetian", you will still find it recognizable. The server was sweet lady who had a great personality. She was super polite as well. The tone was set. Now for the food. We really felt like a casual night and had all the food brought at once - apps to the entre. The nightly special of scallops with Calabrian style fingerling potatoes, crispy pancetta and string beans dissuaded me from the idea of getting eggplant parm. My better half ordered the Eggplant Napoleon, so I received my eggplant "fix". But back to the scallops! While not the most refined dish, this rustic presentation, was umptious! The treatment of the food with respects to seasoning and cook were near flawless. A kicked up version of Greek salad and a few homemade meatballs, reminiscent of the old Venetian rounded things out. Oh and the bread - this place never skimps on the bread. Last but not least we ordered a slice of carrot cake. It was more like a quarter of the actual cake - definitely made to share. This will be the 3rd time dining at the "new" Venetian along with a couple takeout experiences. I applaud the management for weathering the worst of the pandemic - I mean they opened December of 2019... That said, this latest dining experience put me at ease that I can receive an authentic Italian experience reminiscent of my grandparents homestead. We left there very satisfied. We will be coming back more often. Bravo.
