It's a huge dining room, and the servers do their best. And it's pub food in a ski resort with a captive audience, so you have to lower your expectations. And yet. The tuna we added to a salad was cooked until it was the color of coal, ehh, it happens. But we asked for a do-over and by the time it came out again, the rest of the party was already done eating. Plus the charge was $29 for four ounces of tasteless tuna on top of some lettuce, which is absurd even for a ski resort. (No adjustment was made to the tab.) Let's see if I can end on a high note. Uh... the beer was cold.

Went here for dinner two nights in a row while staying on the resort for a ski weekend. First night, my girlfriend and I waited an hour for our food and ended up asking for it to go with the check so we could meet our friends who we assumed we would be able to eat before their arrival for and they ended up getting our sides wrong. Second night, waited over an hour for our food to find out my order wasn’t put in and now have been sitting for almost an hour and half still without eating. The steak they served me after the wait was raw too. I got a drink on the house though.

7:30pm reservation. And still waiting on food to come out at 9:05pm. It’s a Saturday night of a long weekend, but obviously the restaurant was not prepared… unfortunately there are no other option around so basically a monopoly.

Waited over one and 1/2 hours for food to come. Food came out cold, had to send it back to be reheated.

Figured a burger would be a safe bet. 40 minutes for a medium rare burger that was cooked medium well, EXTREMELY oversalted, the fries were soggy and at least an hour old, and the sliced tomato was sliced sometime yesterday. The view of the slope was great, and overall a nice place to sit and relax. What a shame!

Dirty silverware. Food crusted on. Same as Christiensens next door. Does not have it together.

Needs some updating but not terrible. Parking lot is small. Hidden one way

No indication online or even at the hotel that it’s in that it’s not open. Went through the lobby and up the elevator and it’s all closed up. Went during day/time advertised online that it’s open.

We stayed in the units that are owned by residents who rent out during the non skiing seasons. The place was not clean. They had blue carpeting, and it had turned brown along the walking areas. I'm not even sure the linen got changed

Chocolate craving: 1. Us: 0. This restaurant located in the beautiful Berkshires is pretty hidden, unless you're lodging at the Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort, with John Harvard's being one of the many restaurants available during your stay. We both opted for chicken sandwiches. His was simple - cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion. Hers was an odd pairing - caramelized onions, bacon, cheese, tomato, and...pesto? Yes, pesto. It was delicious, although the amount given was not very great and more had to be requested. The chicken was juicy, the brioche bun generously toasted, and the french fries perfectly salted. Service was great, we were perfectly tended to. Back to the dessert - the brownie was moist and chocolatey, the ice cream rich. All in all, the perfect item to satisfy that after-dinner sweet tooth.

Based on bar only: the bartender was on his phone while vaping! In the restaurant! Behind the bar! And $15.75 for a hot toddy! Willllllllld. Please allow staff to take breaks so they don't have to ignore customers watching while they vape and check Instagram behind the bar.

Menu on Jiminy website and John Harvard website does not match. We researched pur dinner location before we travelled over 100 miles. Needless to say it is disappointing to arrive and see an entirely food selection when you have people with dietary restrictions.Spoke to the waitress and manager and they say this happened before and that they have no control over the website.Someone out there DOES have control. Make some calls because this business model of shrugging and saying someone else does it is not in good taste (pun intended).
