The food was excellent and a bit unusual (Nepalese is not quite Indian that is common in the area). Everyone very much enjoyed the food. The service was prompt and efficient, though we were there during the week and don't know how it looks like on a weekend night.Vegetarian options: Delicious vegetarian options are availableParking: Street parking is plentiful

Saw this Nepalese restaurant on TA, so drove from Gloucester. We had veggie takari and chili lamp with mushrooms pepper and onion. Spicy and great. Garlic naan was delicious. Owner/chef Chandra Mandal came out to check and we chatted for a while. Friendly and tasty. Worth a drive. Gene E

Firstly, greatly welcomed! Came for vegetables MOMO’s which are some of best in the world!!!Then there there’s all the other gems..While I was there telephone was ringing off hook, couldn’t believe , they said we offer FREE delivery to Winchester residents, what! !!Love this place and they are struggling a bit, we don’t know why because food is authentic Nepalese/Indian food!!

Highly highly recommend!! We had the BEST meal and dining experience at Mitho. The food is undeniably delicious and comforting. We tried a bunch of different dishes from appetizers, soups, teas, entrees and dessert. We took home even the littlest bits of leftovers which wasn’t much bc everything was phenomenal! Everything was that good! The staff is so genuinely kind, friendly and welcoming. They treated us to a delicious dessert on the house at the end of the meal and could not have been nicer or more accommodating. They have an adorable patio table in the back that we sat at. Photo of the rich and sweet mini donut-like dessert below.

This place is SOO good. We were in the area and were intrigued by Himalayan food (never had it) and are always looking for good healthy food spots! Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. We shared the chicken mushroom tarkari curry and rack of lamb. Only complaint is that the 3 pieces of lamb were very tiny for the price, but everything is expensive these days so I get it. We were served a free dessert that was simply divine (it was some sort of mini doughnut hole in a sugar syrup). We loved it so much we were offered another haha! Definitely will be back to try many more things on the menu. Great family restaurant. Great food that’s different from what else you’ll find around here!

My daughter and I had a splendid lunch at Mitho on June 3rd. Service was helpful, prompt, and unobtrusive. The food was fantastic! We loved the vegetarian dumplings, beautiful and delectable, as well as the main dishes: a noodle dish and a shrimp curry. Just outstanding. We'll be back, and soon!

I just ate here and both owners were so pleasant, even giving us a dessert portion to sample after our meal, which was delightful. The basil thyme lamb was phenomenal, the paneer and spinach mo:mo was mouthwatering (especially with its accompanying sauce!) and the shrimp tarkari was delicious. As for drinks, the Indian take on limeade was better than any I've ever had in my life. I'm so happy that I had the chance to eat here! I am already planning my next visit with friends, especially since they also offer plenty of gluten free and vegan options.

We went there on a Saturday evening few weeks ago. This place is very warm and welcoming. It was our first time going there and trying out Himalayan cuisine, the host explained everything in details. The momo (a type of dumplings) is very good and is a must-try. Next time if we are visiting Boston area we’ll definitely visit this place again! ??

Love this place! The food is amazing and I like that they have outdoor seating – – it can be a little noisy on the street but not too bad. I usually don’t choose choose to go to restaurants serving foods I’m not used to but I have been to this place several times and each time I like it even more. Maybe I’ll become more adventurous with my eating habit – – ha ha. Also, it’s a good value. I wouldn’t say it’s cheap but it’s not bad.

Excellent Himalayan restaurant in Winchester. Terrific menu, the momos are superb. Great meat and vegetarian options. Attentive staff and quiet relaxing decor along with a nice covered patio. Reasonably priced. The owners are wonderful!

The host was very welcoming and warm. The lamb curry and garlic naan were very delicious. My friend ordered strawberry lassi and I also received one complimentary so the extra was not wasted. To top it all off, the host brought us a complimentary small gulab jamun. While I would not expect this treatment all the time, the host really took advantage of their extra time on Saturday morning to show extreme hospitality. Will definitely come back and highly recommend to try this place.

My family and I stopped here late (8:30pm) at the end of a travel day. The staff was very gracious and set us up at a lovely outside patio table. The meals and drinks were wonderful, full of flavor and spiced to taste. A lovely space to unwind and replenish.

I've never had Himalyan food but I can say there truly is a first time for everything. I ordered a chicken and rice dish and it was pretty good. I just was hoping for a bit more punch of flavor. I ordered a classic mocktail that was really good. The environment is true to the culture and its full of color.
