I’m so glad I finally tried Playa Bowls! It is such a fun place! The service is quick and the bowls are worth the price. I ordered the electric mermaid pitaya bowl and loved it!

I'll start by saying that the good part of Playa Bowls is that no one was rude or unfriendly and you are greeted. Always a good start. I would say that the 3 star review is mainly because the place just wasn't so clean. The two trash containers were completely full and spilling over - some trash/napkins/spoons had fallen out on the floor next to them. No space in it to add new trash - unappealing. Added to that, the servers were pretty loud and goofing off to the point that the background noise was kind of annoying. The açaí bowl itself is a massive portion, presented very nicely and with care; however, for me, it's excessively sweet. It's definitely a nice location with convenient parking, but I don't think the experience was great enough to go back.

Decent food but way overpriced.The folks working there don’t always follow the online order details any most of the time I get something I didn’t order, or some topping is missing. They even charge a “convenience fee” if you order online, but I’d rather pay an accuracy fee. Very discouraging to pay ~ $14 for something I didn’t want.

This place is great if you like music while you're eating (and even if you don't!) they have a wide selection of acai bowls and smoothies with delicious fresh fruit. They have an easy to use app if you'd like to order ahead with a 15% discount code when you sign up for their rewards program. There's plenty of seating and nice paintings all around the restaurant. They even have out free stickers all year.
