I got the scallops and shrimp scampi, and the flavor of the meal was very good. The problem was, is that the shrimp and scallops were overcooked to the point where they were chewy.

As always a very pleasant evening at “The Arms”! It is St. Patrick's Day weekend so it was very noisy and crowded in the lobby when we got there! Once inside the restaurant the sound level decreased somewhat. We requested Lois as our server and she did a great job! The food was good. My only complaint is that the corned beef was sliced very thick. However, it was tasty!

This is my annual get together with friends for the corned beef and cabbage dinner. Delicious as usual. A tad on the pricey side as I'm seeing other great restaurants in the area post their St Patrick's Day menu.

Very nice evening with friends, service was great prime rib was awesome always look forward to their house salad served on a chilled plate and their signature cheese dip and crackers. My wife had the bone in veal chop.for dessert we shared a Sundae and warm chocolate chip cookies and ice cream. Always an excellent dinner experience at the Winthrop Arms

We were party of 8 and really enjoyed the restaurant. Everyone liked what they had and we are a difficult group to please. Our server Caroline was lovely friendly and very accommodating. We wilily definitely be coming back again..

Went to Winthrop Arms for my sisters birthday lunch on a Sunday. There was 9 of us and they sat us at a big round table - which is my fav type of table with a large group. You can talk to anyone at the table this way ! We order the fried clam appetizer, which was delicious and a few of us got clam chowder and onion soups. They were perfect, plenty of clams in the chowder and the onion soup was old school onion soup, it was great. We all got dinners that varied from Fisherman's Platter to baked scallops (which is what I ordered, and they were cooked perfectly) to a pasta dish. Everyone said their dinner was great and would come back again. We haven't been to Winthrop Arm's in a few years, but now we will definitely put this restaurant back in our rotation.

Our first time experiencing Winthrop Arms after hearing about it for years and did not disappoint !! Our table was perfect and somewhat private so it was great atmosphere. Our food was so excellent everyone enjoyed & great portions !! Fred Flintstone prime rib lived up to its name. But best of all was our server Lois !! She's an absolute love ! So Hard working & so lovely - we will come back but only to sit in her section !! Thank you for making our friends Birthday celebration very special and memorable !! Can't wait to comeback !

First time at Winthrop Arms, won't be our last. Large portions of yummy food. Turkey dinner was excellent and I loved the gravy. Seafood scampi was loaded. Very comfortable with nice service.

We are waited a long time for someone to take our drink/appetizer order. The appetizers were delicious but we had to ask the hostess for our check because our waitress never returned. We then sat at the bar and ordered our dinners to-go.

We were there for my brother's birthday on a Friday. They always have a good crowd, but I was thinking it was a good thing we had reservations. The bar as well as dining area were pretty much full. Brother and wife's lobster pasta dishes were very good. The blackened pork chops were very good also, although I'd request medium next time, if a pork chop can be served medium. Sides, especially the squash, was excellent.

I love the Arms it always has great food and good service seating near the kitchen door is not the best, the noise level sometimes is too loud i like to have a conversation with my wife and my autistic son the noise sometimes bothers him but most of the time it is a good experience thanks for letting me share this with you, this will not stop me from coming.

I haven't been here in a while. I've always loved the old world ambiance here. I had the lobster pie which was great! My sister loved the baked stuffed shrimp. Everything was delicious! Our server was very attentive and pleasant. Highly recommend Winthrop Arms. Always a good experience!!! Love it

When Lois is working we request her for our waitress. As usual, she did a fine job. She is like the “Energizer Bunny”! The food was good as usual. My clam chowder was delicious, however I thought my clams weren't as piping hot as they usually are. The others thought their meals were very good. Overall, another pleasant experience at “The Arms” sitting outside on a lovely night!

We like to have dinner on the weekends. Valet parking is a plus since it's located in a neighborhood near the water. Outdoor dining on the porch offers slivers of water views. We usually stick w/ classics like turkey dinner, chicken pot pie and seafood.

Had a lovely lunch on the porch. Nice to see the ocean between the trees / houses across the street. Food - particularly shrimp & scallops - was delicious. I have celiac and they were very good about cross contamination.
