I went to the location but it seems to be permanently closed

Great vegetarian options! Tasty, too. Flavored tofu options mimic boneless pork, duck and chicken as a way to present delicious sauces.

Moved to woburn in 2019 - and this is our favorite restaurant. We love the soup, sushi and steamed wontons. Great food, friendly staff! Love it

Bayberry Cafe is packing up their Woburn bags and relocating to Cambridge. Their last day of service will be Mothers Day (May 14) 2023. Their new location will be called Ramen O Bowl and will be at: 1668 Massachusetts Ave Cambridge MA with an opening in the near future. Bayberry has been a wonderful community restaurant since they opened 6 years ago, bringing some of the most delicious vegan food to the North suburbs, but unfortunately it is their time to give another location a try.

Amazing , amazing ! I had their scallion pancakes. Absolutely delicious. It came with this really tasty mango sauce ontop. It was Super cheap and filling . My bill was 7$ . The staff are super sweet and nice. I will definitely be revisiting. There's street parking which isn't difficult to find. It's in a really nice area, easy to locate.Edit : Second trip there and we got sweet and sour chicken, lo mein , spring rolls and thai tea. It was so yummy. We savored single every bite. This is easily a staple restaurant.

My husband and I have been to several all vegan Asian restaurants, and we hit the jackpot when we discovered this one. The seitan is glorious. Great service, lovely establishment. We can't wait to go back.

I learned about Bayberry Café via a Yelp list of some of the top vegan restaurants in the U.S. and I'm glad I finally found time to stop by recently. Here, all the offerings look and even taste like typical Chinese or Asian fare, except that they're all vegan - whether vegan "sushi," vegan bowls, soups, appetizers, salads, or entrees. And although menu descriptions like "sweet citrus soy protein" or "black pepper seitan" on their website might not register immediately or sound appealing to omnivores, I found that the dine-in ordering process involved scanning a QR code that popped up an online ordering menu complete with pictures - in which case you'll recognize all your Chinese favorites. In my case, the sweet and sour soy protein looked and tasted almost like sweet and sour chicken. The soy protein was beautifully sauced and crisped, except that, being vegan in nature, wasn't quite as filling to this omnivore as real meat would be. Still, a delicious, freshly prepared treat that was complemented with broccoli, bell pepper, and pineapple.Service was fast and efficient and the entire venue was large and cozy, as if it'd been a large pub once before. Thanks Yelpers for another excellent, local, and independent find!

Bayberry is always a five. The best vegan food in the area. Service is always great. Don't overthink it - go to Bayberry!!

Food was fine. I was initially really excited from all of the options, but I wasn't too impressed with anything I had. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd get something that wasn't centered on plant-based meat. Avocado salad was great. But typical of what you find in your standard asian restaurant. Wasn't a fan of the texture of the BBQ vegan ribs. Too squishy and not firm enough. Sauce was cloyingly sweet. The waitress recommended the soy cutlet sizzling platter, and I was really impressed when it first came out. However, it was extremely bland and unseasoned. No flavor in the sauce. Soy cutlets, again, were too squishy and I was hoping for a firmer texture. I couldn't bring myself to eat more than two pieces. Beijing veggie duck was good, but the portion was really small and I hardly got any veggies along with it. The sauce was too sweet and needed some acid to cut it down. Friendly and attentive staff. The writing on the wall of the restaurant is cute.

This place has a vairation of Asian vegan mock meats like my favorite home town restaurants. This one has a better balance of mock duck and bok choy with just enough sauce! #flexitarian #plantbasedfoodie #plantbasedfoodies Updated from previous review on 2023-02-05
