Quick service, but they have you use the iPads to order food - which apparently charges $0.99 to order via that specific app. I realized that when I went back to the counter to grab a drink.The house noodle was really good, but slightly salty.Wish they had more on their menu to try though.

They were pretty rude about kicking us out 20 before closing when we were finishing up anyways.Awesome hand pulled noodles. They’ll actually make it spicy if you ask which is hard to find around here.

Genes is great. I'm a spicy hand pulled (hand carved, etc) noodle type of guy. Theirs is yummy. I have many places I go for hand pulled noodles and each place's flavor is slightly different. But I like them all. Genes also does nice soups which I've had in the past and enjoy thoroughly. I'm on the noodle kick and will likely eat here weekly until I get tired of the noodles (which might be impossible) as I have a commitment nearby. Yay for commitments! One gripe: closing the dining hall and going to take out only at 7:30 is a bit early. But I'm aware that this is the burbs and you have to run your business on experience. So I get it. One other point: I met the owner a long time ago and he seemed to be a nice happy guy who loved sharing his home regions cooking. An overall good attitude to have in my opinion!

This has become my go-to comfort food lately. The broth is just amazing and flavorful and the hand-pulled noodles are never a miss. On top of the amazing food, its price point is incredible. If you're in need of a good soup this fall Gene's is an absolute must.

Get the hot sour noodle soup! One of the best cheap meals in the area. We ordered online for pickup, which was very easy, quick, and convenient. Very substantial, tasty, chewy hand pulled noodles and excellent flavor in the soup. I have only ever gotten takeout but the Woburn location doesn't seem to have a ton of seating. Plenty of parking close by. I'm excited to come back and try more of their menu!
