The pricing and portion at this restaurant is honestly ridiculous. Tilapia is one of the cheapest fish you can buy in America which is why I tend to eat red snapper, but it was $25.00. Why are you people charging $20.00 for grilled tilapia and one cut-up sweet plantain(6 pieces)? For that price we should be getting at least 2 cut up plantain, each one is about .80 cents retail wholesale. The side of jollof was $8.00 and it was decent. The fish was okay, a decent sized fish but more salt, ginger and pepper is recommended in the seasoning. Banku was good but okra stew wasn't flavorful, I added liquid maggi for flavor. If you have no choice I would recommend them, I think their portions in comparison to other Ghanaian restaurants in NYC/NJ is a joke.

While the food here is delicious, there's much to improve on the service and ambience. When we arrived at the restaurant we were greeted by hysterical laughter and conversations. I was a bit surprised that the restaurant was so loud and assumed this was coming from another customer. To my surprise it was the lady behind the service counter she was on a personal call while working... There was a line when we entered so we got in it. After 10 mins it was our turn and the lady continued her conversation on the phone as she asked us "what you want to get?" We told her we were looking to dine in and she said "you should have sat down then, this is to go"... How is a customer supposed to know that if no one tells them this upon entering? Long story short, we sat down and waited some more until we placed our order. While waiting on our food, we could barely hear ourselves when talking st our table because this lady continued on with her personal call the entire duration. Yelling and laughing hysterically until we left. Personally, no food is worth this amount of rudeness. I wont be returning

The service was nice and they attended to our time. The meat was a bit tough to chew and the rice was a little dry, spice is tolerable on the rice plate. Fried chicken was good, it's very typical. The fufu is limited to what they make during each day, so they do not serve everything that's on the menu daily as it says. Make sure you let them know if you want less spice because the fufu was really spicy, just spice but not flavor

Anokye Krom is a very popular restaurant in Worcester. They specialize in African cuisines. Ghanaian foods dominate their menu though. The waiters and waitresses have excellent customer service skills.Waakye, kenkey with fish, jollof with chicken, goat meat, yam, rice balls, banku with groundnut soup etc are always available. They offer catering services for all programmed; weddings, funerals, parties. They are not very reliable when it comes to placing orders on phone.Vegetarian options: Inform the chef and he will sort you out.Dietary restrictions: You can inform them of your restrictions and your needs would be met by the chef.If you don’t like spicy ?️ food, inform them before you place your order.Parking: Lots of parking space.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly with lots of space to keep the kids active.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance

We had a lovely host who helped us sort out what to try on the menu. There were so many options and we wanted to get a variety of tastes without going over budget. Due to Bennie’s (sp) patience, we got yummy dishes for a great price. And free waters for our first visit while we waited for them to make or to go orders. Worth the drive to get a taste of Ghana. Thanks for making our Christmas Eve easier. :)

very very poor customer service. i was there Saturday the 25 th of November 2023 between 5-6pm and it was a lady doing the cashiering and also answering the phone calls. I placed an order for fried yam with hot source only since the person i was ordering for was a vegetarian. the lady told me the fried yam doesn't come with hot sauce I will only get the hot source if I add fish and I did. when I got there to pick my order,I asked for two pies and I asked her to separate the pies in a separate paper bags since it was for two people and she refused stating each paper bag can hold five pies so she wont separate them to waste the bags. Her Attitude was just as retailers in Ghana. They treat their customers poorly. Anokye krom employee should wear a name budge. The food did not even taste good for them to be rude.

Every experience I’ve had at this restaurant has been bad. My first time trying them I called in an order and went to pick it up after the time they stated it would be ready only to get there and have them tell me that not only did they not start my order but they didn’t have anything available. My most recent time ordering from them I decided to order through their delivery service. The food got there on time but it was a completely wrong order, and I know it wasn’t the deliver drivers fault because the food had my receipt with the order i placed. I tried to eat to the wrong order they gave me but the chicken was dry, the rice was hard, the egg was the only thing I enjoyed BUT ANYONE CAN COOK AN EGG. Will not be eating here AGAIN.

No complaints on the food, it's great but it's too small compared to accra girls. I think its still better though. If you don't like waiting you better call in before going there. Also the place is very nice so you can eat

Food is pretty good but SERVICE is terrible. I ordered for and sat down for more than 45 mins only to be told that they food I ordered isn't available. It's a miracle they are still in business. I'm a Ghanaian myself but I think they can
