I've gone here plenty of times. The food is great. The only thing I don't like is that someone doesn't always greet you to say you can sit anywhere or that's they're still cleaning off an area or not. I've had people sit down before me when I've been waiting because they were still cleaning yet the staff didn't say anything.

I had not been here for years. I decided to make special trip to see if it was as good as I remembered. Scrambled eggs with cheese, crispy bacon and crispy home fries, ordinary as it comes. However, do it with quality ingredients and the expert execution, it becomes extraordinary. Best breakfast, I had in years!

I've been to many diners in my life. I've been to so many diners so please take my opinion highly this is like the best diner I've ever been to it is so good the grilled cheese is amazing the pancakes are the best pancakes everything was great please go here and you'll have the best food ever

after about 5 trips here i think i'm done. no smiles, no refill on your coffee unless you flag a waitress down, and two cooks that argue with each other the whole time you're there. i thought they were gonna throw down last time i ate. foods ok but served on little plates i guess to make it seem like there's a lot.. The regulars get all the love, the rest of us can just get out.

Picked up my daughter at Clark and decided to get some food in our bellies before heading back to CT, and rachel was sure this was the place to go. Her choice was spot on, Blanchard's is a solid old school diner! Interior probably hasn't changed in decades, and that is a good thing. 10-15 counter stools, for the regulars and old timers to sit at, and some booths along the windows. Our server came over quickly, and took the order. I went with egg and cheese on a bulkie roll, which in my opinion is a good way to measure any diner. A simple sandwich, but easy to complicate. The good news is the sandwich they served up passed with flying colors. Cheese was melted to perfection and the grilled roll was perfectly done. I also ordered a large OJ, and got a large glass of OJ...what a concept. I imagine any menu item would be handled with similar skill and deliver on flavor too! What I really liked about dining here was the watching the behind the counter cooking going on. The owner and his assistant, not sure who she was, clearly have been doing this for a long time together. They had moves for each other and it was almost ballet like in its synchronicity. Definitely add Blanchards to your list of diners to check out!
