Best Indian Food in whole New England. Little expensive for some people but trust me it’s worth it.

They aren’t serving alcohol yet BUT the mango lassi was outstanding! Very satisfying. The food was incredible. We had the samosas to start. The boneless lamb and the palak paneer were delicious! The staff was super attentive and we never felt ignored . We will definitely be back! Convenient and cheap parking close by.

The truffle mushroom soup was by far my favorite thing there but everything else at the restaurant was amazing and seemed authentic. The sauce in the lobster dish was amazing and i had to take it home and order some garlic naan bread for it. Would def recommend!!! The staff were very attentive and chased me down to box my cake which I was hesitant to take just because I was so full and had a flight to catch the next morning. Definitely appreciated it though!

I recently discovered Bombay Lounge a month ago and have gone twice already! The food is absolutely amazing, it is honestly one of the best restaurants in Worcester. The staff is so kind and welcoming, and on our second visit they offered us a free dessert for coming back. It is so beautiful inside the restaurant and a great place for a date or large dinner party. This is definitely going to be a regular spot for me and my partner, I highly recommend. Support this business!!!

I had lunch today there in a fine Sunday SuperBowl day. The drinks were amazing in taste as well as the way those were presented. Same goes for the food too, there are many unique dishes on the menu and I loved the food as well as the serving of it.This place is definitely worth a date night dinner too. I would highly recommend Bombay Lounge if you wanna try Indian food in Worcester county, this place has a fusion food choices available too.

Food was fantastic, was not a single thing that wasn't absolutely delicious if you're into a little spice! Although there's not alcohol served their yet, my Fiance and I both ordered mocktails that were both delicious and true to the drink without alcohol. Service was friendly, they let us eat without feeling rushed. They make a delightful carrot cake for dessert as well and sent us home with another carrot based warm dessert that my fiance loved. We will definitely be back to eat at bombay lounge again, nice to have some more Indian food options in worcester !

I am a longtime patron of both Northern and Southern Indian restaurants in the area, and I've loved them all -- but the meal we just had at Bombay Lounge on Water Street was by far the best. The interior is gorgeous, I love what they did with the space. The service is top-notch -- helpful, friendly, and great recommendations. So far, we have tried the tandoori marinated chicken (succulent and giant chunks of perfectly roasted and juicy breast), dal makhni (brimming over in the container, creamy and spicy and unctuous and perfect), garlic naan and jeera rice were flawless again, and the palak paneer was the absolute perfect texture. Wow. Easily the best I've had. Ghee rice so absolutely buttery and tender, too. Mocktails were outstanding. The blackberry Kala Khatta is a riff off a classic Indian popsicle and was savory and sweet and super refreshing. We loved the Red Lychee too. We shared the baigan bhartha, butter chicken, and a mango chana masala; all perfectly spiced, tender, and beautifully presented. Huge portions and wonderful leftovers! The naan was perfectly pillowy soft, and they had a special rice with toasted cumin seeds that popped in your mouth. They surprised us with a gulab jamun at the end, and it was seriously the best I've ever had. Tender, aromatic, bursting with syrup, and so cozy and crunchy comforting!! I seriously want to try everything they have.

Visited this restaurant with high expectations for Indian cuisine but left disappointed. The non-authentic Indian food was excessively overpriced, and though the ambience was decent, it failed to compensate for the culinary letdown. What struck us was the lack of courtesy--they didn't offer a complimentary dessert despite our birthday celebration. Disappointing experience overall, and we won't be dining there again.

I would give it a 3.5 out of five. The service was nice and attentive did take a while for them to retrieve the cards for payment. We opted for the Buffet which had many selections. Food was lukewarm but very tasty. No alcohol served here, non alcoholic wine was ok but for the same price of a glass of wine maybe I will pass next time. All in all on a snowy day in Worcester good experience. Will come back again.

The buffet was lovely! Nothing was wildly spicy so my husband was able to have everything offered. Everything was delicious. Great service!

I normally dont do reviews but in this case I had to take the time to review what is being touted as an Upscale Indian place in Worcester.Lets start with the fact that Bombay BAR and Lounge - does NOT serve Alcohol!!! Getting a liquor license might be a minor detail that probably the owners forgot when they named their place. While the ambience did not say "upscale" (tiny tables, uncomfortable cafeteria style chairs and a disproportionate but huge mural of Alia Bhatt....), the menu and the prices on the menu screamed upscale. Appetizers in the $12 - $16 range, Entrees in the $24 - $36 range. The brain said run, but the heart wanted to give the place a chance - what if this place actually had authentic Indian Food. Unfortunately, that was not the case....the appetizers were bad and thats saying it delicately- The samosas seemed to have come fresh from the microwave, were tiny and tasted weird- The garlic cauliflower seemed to have gone through some special patented process to make them gelatinous and nasty- The lamb kababs could have been used as door stops- The Kothmir Wadi was unlike any wadi I had eaten in my life and I dont mean that in a nice wayYou would think we would have run out at the time... but great company, biting cold weather and our curiosity around how bad could the entrees be made us stay....And we were not disappointed! The entrees were as bad if not worse than the appetizers- The Malvani Fish (their signature dish) was soooooo hard that it was impossible to eat - literally a hunk was left on the table untouched after people had tasted it- The Mutton Ghee something something had a great gravy but the meat had hung out with the fish and the kababs and had toughened up significantly! Not to mention that in the 8 pieces of meat that we got - 3 of them were ALL bone- The Haka Noodles with Chicken was presented very well in a very fancy dual tray... noodles were ok but the chicken.... yep.. you guessed it - hard and chewy- Vegetables were OK - not worth the $24 price tag but at least edible. Same with the Roti and Paratha @ $8 a pop I was expecting something fresh but these looked and tasted like the Indian store roti's heated upYes... we did not stop - we actually ordered a dessert (why stop at two courses when you can torture yourself for three!) - I have to say that the Kulfi wasnt quite Kulfi - more like icecream with ice crystals embedded in it to give them a unique high end crunch....Service was good - cannot blame the wait staff for whatever was happening in the kitchen.Damage was about $72 per person - yep - without alcohol!!Needless to say no doggie bags were taken - one would not want to have their dog have to eat such nasty stuff.Stay at home - eat frozen Trader Joe's Indian Food and you will come out ahead!!

My husband and I stumbled upon this place last night because the place we were going to was closed and I’m so glad it was because we had a wonderful dinner at Bombay Lounge! Our waiter was so kind and attentive! We realized they aren’t serving alcohol yet but it was such a nice experience we didn’t even care. I got a chai tea that was perfect for a chilly night! We got 2 entrees, the lamb curry and butter chicken and both were outstanding! The garlic naan was my favorite and then my husband ordered garlic chili naan and they made sure not to make it too spicy because I can’t really handle heat. They also gave us a complimentary dessert that was delicious! Everything about this experience was wonderful and we will definitely be back!
