Ok- i dont normally review a place if it isnt a positive review. My boyfriend and I wanted takeout tonight, decided to try something new. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! We ordered the shrimp basket, hush puppies, and crab fries. All of it was cold, soggy, and definitely not fresh seafood. We picked it up and drove less than 5 minutes down the road to eat. We will definitely not be returning. The fries were undercooked yet stale tasting, the shrimp were fried (no seasoning in the batter, tails still on), the hush puppies were seasoned but still tasted bland. Overall, no thank you.

Favorite spot to get my cajun boil fix. Originally from Florida, very few places season the food just right. Food was amazing and atmosphere is great. Will be returning

Love this place!!! Really good Cajun style seafood and good price! Service is super good! I've been here twice in a month, never fails to surprise me. The seafood are all super fresh, we've tried shrimp, crawfish, clam, muscle, and crab. They are all good. We like the garlic sauce with some extra noodles, tastes so yummy!

Cajun fries and crab fries are great. Fried shrimp basket was good. It came with tartar sauce. There was no flavor. Maybe some seasoning or another sauce to dip the shrimp in. The service was just ok

When you look at the menu and it says Haddock & fries , and you get something that doesn't even look like haddock, taste, the color of it and smell and texture was not haddock. I don't know what it was they didn't say anything about it. But made sure they took it off the bill ! I will never go there again.

This place is fabulous. We did the boil bags. I chose snow crab and shrimp with Cajun seasoning, mild with noodles. So good actually enough food for two. I tried the watermelon martini oh my goodness., too good. Definitely recommend this place. Great food and excellent service.

Random visit, 2021 10 02, our first time for my friend and for myself. Very NOT busy. The only non-seafood/non-fish items on the menu were chicken based, and salads. No pork, no beef. Huh. The tablecloth was... printed brown paper - a new trend for me. I ordered an appetizer of garlic breadsticks, told our hostess to bring them with our food order, she repeated my request. My friend ordered Fried Haddock with plain fries, I ordered Fried Scallops with Cajun fries. Breadsticks were delivered about 7 minutes after ordering, our entrees were another 10 minutes after the breadsticks. 1] breadsticks were all but flavorless, very much not garlic flavored. 2] breadsticks came well before the meal, despite me telling her to deliver WITH the meal, despite her repeating my request. Inflexibility for a restaurant to accommodate such a simple request is quite a surprise. The Fried Haddock flesh was distinctly brown in several places on each of her 2 filets, my friend declined to eat more than 2 bites of it. Our hostess was informed and she apologized. My friend orders Haddock nearly everywhere we've gone to eat, she knows her haddock. She also worked over 20 years cooking in her family restaurant, she knows how to cook Haddock. In fact, she still works in a restaurant and still fries Haddock. She is not stupid. She says there was a good chance it wasn't haddock. My scallops were cooked well, not over cooked, and all 7 of them dripped water when I bit. A little too much water, IMO. We both liked our fries. Her fried haddock was comped. In fairness, we were probably NOT their target audience. I will not return here, I will go 3 miles north into West Boylston, to a true New England seafood restaurant.

First time here and first time trying a boil in general. Was SO delicious and our waitress Tamara was so nice which made our meal a great experience!

Worst service I've ever experienced! When we arrived they just sat as down at our table and no one ever came to our table to serve us drink or take our order. We waited 30 minutes for a server and every time we tried to catch their attention they would immediately turn around and go to a different room. They have very clueless young servers that lack etiquette for working in a restaurant. Ended up leaving very disappointed without being attended. I went to the Mexican restaurant El Torito across from them, which had much better service and were more attentive to us. Hook & Reel's service is terrible!

Very great food and great prices too. Came here with my hubby for a late night dinner and was pleasantly surprised. Will be coming back again to try the other boils.Ordered the haddock basket with sweet potato fries with super delicious, would recommend. Also ordered two muscles of crab and shrimp for a boil with their house special sauce and a little spicy. Was flavorful and just the right amount of spice.Got a watermelon margarita which was also very nice to drink.Had a great waitress and staff was nice. You guys beat out the other Cajun place we were going to so, we'll see you guys soon again!

I simply love this place. Went for the first time about a month ago and have probably been at-least once a week since. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Food and drinks are phenomenal. Extremely recommend it here!
