“We have gone to Wooden Bar a few times now and it is better each time we go. Most recently we went with a friend who was visiting from out of state. We still cannot stop talking about the potato salad we started with. Just amazing depth of flavors. We also had the Spicy Tantanmen, the Anori Pulled Pork sliders (which my fiance gets every time we go) and the amazing Black Garlic Pork. We were all doing happy dances in our seats as we ate. The flavors are divine and you can tell the chef really takes pride in creating each dish. Everything has so many layers. All the components are amazing separately, but when you make a full bite, the flavor profile is out of this world. They also have great drinks like their Old fashion and if you can't do alcohol, they serve up the best Shirley Temple I've ever had. Also, the staff are wonderful, friendly and hardworking. We are so glad to have found this hidden gem. Worth every penny.“
“OMG!!!! SO FANTASTIC. Went For the 1st time this morning with my daughter who is gluten free. We both got gluten free waffles. Gluten free breads, pastry & breakfast staples are really hard to pull off. THESE WAFFLES WERE PERFECT. (taste & texture). The toppings so fresh... I had the "Californian" Avocado so green and ripe... yummy sauce (real name) lives up to it's name.. I added bacon.. it was thick & crumble and there was a kick of sweetness that brought all the flavors together. PERFECTION! Appreciated the friendliness of the dude that was working the counter and cooking. THANK YOU. Will definitely be back for more!!!“
“What a fantastic spot for lunch or dinner Momo's is. A unique cuisine and limited menu to be sure, but don't let that deter you from trying these delicious Momo dumplings! Served steamed, fried, in a soup, spicy or not -- it doesn't matter, all delicious!“
“Just off of the campus of Clark University, parking spot right in front. Great Seafood Pho! Clean spot that was fun to meet with friends. Would recommend as a fast meal but we spent hours talking as it really feels comfortable to be there and prices were very reasonable too!“
“Went here multiple times before Covid and never went back because several times my party felt the service was dismissive and disrespectful. So maybe that colors part of my review. My family had takeout and on the food alone, I'd definitely recommend. I've had some bad luck with Chinese restaurants lately, had a lot of dishes that were just heavy in grease. Not an issue at Red Pepper. The crab rangoon were some of the best I've had in a while as was the lo main and boneless ribs. The Mongolian chicken was very spicy in a good way. But I'd avoid the salt and pepper calamari. The issue wasn't that it was a fried food takeout issue, it just didn't have much flavor which was a disappointment. Can't comment on the service this time around but the place did still seem to be quiet and homey.“
“The Pho is great, it genuinely tasted like Vietnamese Pho made back home. The place also feels like a Vietnamese restaurant back home. The service is also great, while the waitress looks a bit aggressive, she’s a great person.10/10 would eat here again.“
“A delightful experience. The ramen is outstanding, my favorite is the spicy tonkotsu ramen with chashu pork. Exceptional customer service with a warm greeting and attentive staff. A hidden gem offering yummy food. Definitely deserves a visit!“
“I've been to this place a few times, surprised I didn't write a review. The owner's wife could not be any nicer. the food here is top notch and I have never had a bad experience.I would recommend, but please note they get real busy later in the evening, so be prepared to wait. best thing is to order ahead, so it's ready when you get there.“
“Our family & Friends started a tradition this year by ending it and bringing in the new year with Thai food at the Thai Corner restaurant! I did RSVP a head of time, because we had 10-13 ppl joining us. This place was a comfortable atmosphere with delicious food! The staff were so friendly & pleasant with us through the whole experience. They made sure we had our drinks filled, and anything we needed at the table at all times. It’s refreshing to have a Very reliable staff. I like to try new food to taste Or just have my all time favorite Thai dish! What is great the location is close to WSC, and close enough to QCC if you’re craving some food. It’s a steady pace business with fresh food. There are plenty of tables to eat in or just order take out . The food came out hot and so fresh! Delicious!! This is definitely my new favorite place to eat or if I just want to order a ice tea!
