When I'm in Worcester this is one of my family's go-to's. In Connecticut I'm a little spoiled with amazing Italian food so for me it's meh. I do love their meatballs. I have tried the chicken piccata it's pretty good. I've ordered the chicken Caesar salad before, had a funny taste, didn't finish the chicken. Nothing exceptional. But by far the most disturbing was this "filet mignon" special. First of all, they're trying to pass this off as actual filet mignon, you can tell by looking at it it's not. And no chef would ever cut filet mignon into 3oz medallions- so I should've known better. Was so fatty, tasted like chuck/stew meat. I kept trying to salvage some of it but it was so chewy I just kept spitting it out. The cognac sauce was good however whatever the mashed potatoes were seasoned with did not pair with the sauce at all. It tasted sour or spoiled. Didn't eat those either. As far as the presentation it speaks for itself; however this was a take-out order so I don't hold high standards on appearance. Also pictured was the eggplant Parm, on a positive note my mother did enjoy it though it was an extremely small portion for dinner ($21, pasta is extra). I have ordered the vegetables as a side dish before, very small portion (came in pint container 1/2 full) for $10 but tasty. Greek salad was good, if I remember correctly they make their own dressing. While this place would not be my choice, my family does like it so I'm going to stick with the meatballs next time.

Well decided to try this on a recommendation...I should have went to via or 111 chop..bad bar service....ordered a nice 100 bottle of wine and ate my salad before the wine arrived ..my wife's meal was less then quality and when bartender asked her how it was she gave an honest answer no flavor ..she said she would tell the cook...nothing ever came of it ...many better options in the area ..eat well..

Had dinner with friends this past week. I'll keep it simple: Pros: 1. Food was good; portions just right. None of us had any leftover to bring home. 2. I found our server to be good. Came at just the right time for another drink. 3. Ambiance is nice, on the dark side but I like that. Also, tables are well spaced so you don't have other diners on top of you. 4. Nice bar Cons: 1) Drinks are TINY for $12 and loaded with ice! I had 3 and did not even have a buzz, so i assume not too much alcohol in them as well 2) Parking is trick. There is a lot closer to 290 but it is for the brew pub and pizza place. Nuovo has a smaller lot with valet. So will I go again? Yes, but I'll drink beer next time.

Food- Food absolutely delicious, best pasta I had ever eaten. Excellent pasta - the best !!! Service- our server was very friendly, and very accommodating. The ambiance is perfect for an intimate dinner with my wife on Valentine's Day. They have a complete bar with a fantastic array of libations. Great place to eat and enjoy a wonderful Italian dinner. I will definitely be back , my first time here but I guarantee it won't be my last. Plus the staff is wonderful (by this I mean from the Chef, to the waitresses, all on the same page to provide a wonderful dining experience. )

Went for restaurant week. Eggplant relating was very good. Caesars salad was ok, nothing special. Main course was chicken fracaise over risotto. No sauce on Chicken but it was still good but the risotto was too firm

We enjoy coming to Nuovo a few times a year. Came for restaurant week and we werent disappointed in the quality and quantity of food. Only issue was incredibly slow service. I get it that they need to train new folks on slow weeknights, so it is what it is. Owner very nicely comped dessert.

I've driven past Nuovo forever and this is the first time we've been there. We were really missing out. It's got great atmosphere for a quiet dinner. The food was delicious and they even were flexible about which sauces on the pasta dish. Friendly wait staff. Good drinks. We'll definitely be back.

Nuevo is a great date night place. The food is always great and the ambiance is fantastic. You would think you were in the North End in Boston. Had reservations and our table was ready when we arrived. Our waiter was great. Very knowledgeable of the menu and wine list.

This was my first time at Nuovo after growing up in Worcester and dining in the city often. We were there on what seemed like a busy night, which definitely impacted my experience. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed, and due to that did not check on us often, and even seemed rushed and bothered at times. We had a 6:30 res and did not get our food until 7:45 (no apps and only one drink). The food was good and came out hot, but not spectacular for the ~$30 per plate pricing. Also, My party of 4 could barely hear eachother it was so loud in the resturaunt. I may try Nuovo again on a less busy night, but it will not be my first choice in Worcester.

Wonderful first time experience at Nuovo Restaurant for my Valentine's Day celebration with my husband. The food was phenomenal, waitress was amazing and provided exceptional customer service! We even got to meet the Chef who made the experience so much more memorable as he took the time to engage with us in conversation. As customers visiting from out of town, we can definitely say it was a Superb experience and recommend the fine dining at Nuovo ❤️

Went there on a date night. The service was excellent. The food was tasty but not amazing. The calamari in the cioppino was way overcooked. We had the mussels as an appetizer and they were fantastic. We would definitely go back but order some thing else
