Im not one to give negative reviews, especially in the food industry, but I left here with a bad taste in my mouth when I noticed that the waiter solely spoke to my boyfriend and hardly looked in my direction. What really solidified me not coming back was when he asked for our drink orders. My boyfriend said he would like a water with lemon. I didn’t get to say anything! The waiter immediately left without even looking at me and came back with two waters. As if my boyfriend speaks for me. Thankfully my boyfriend also noticed this and had me order my food first so I wouldn’t go without.News flash; women are their own people nowadays. And in fact, I was the one paying that day and in charge of your tip (or lack thereof in this case) sorry not sorry.

Ordered takeout from here and it was relatively quick. The spicy tuna roll was good, the salmon was good but the tuna nigiri was a bit weird. Sort of came apart at the seams. The shrimp was sweet which I enjoyed. Pretty good price for what you got as well. The inside was also nice enough to dine inside of if I ever go back.

I am a big fan of Oishi Japanese Restaurant. Located right on Main Street, this place has plenty of parking options ranging from parking lots to street parking. The outside decoration and signage were well crafted giving off a very polished vibe. The interior is beautifully decorated with plenty of seats that can accommodate large parties to intimate dinners. The service is very fast and the wait staff is very friendly. I ordered the hibachi chicken and salmon which came up around $18. The plate and portions were massive. I loved the sweet teriyaki and savory egg fried rice. We also ordered chicken wings, which were absolutely bomb. Juicy and crispy just like they should be. I was very impressed with my dine-in experience! Check them out if you're in the area!

Went here with a friend for dinner. The ambiance is really nice and the location is on the main road so easy to find. I'm not sure whether about parking nearby, but well worth a visit. We ordered Mount fuji(raw), Philadelphia rolls(raw), and caterpillar maki(cooked).Caterpillar maki was probably more worth the money for its size and components. As someone trying sushi for the first time, these were the perfect picks. It's a bit pricey(especially considering the size), so it's probably worth going for special occasions only. We spent a total of 40$ for these three dishes. The plating is beautiful and topped with tobico caviar. There's no wait time(Friday night), and the staff was nice too.Dietary restrictions: They didn't have halal meat so I went with seafood.

An amazing and delicious Japanese restaurant with some Chinese influence. I love and get the Teriyaki stir fry every time I come here for lunch. I go for lunch sized specials because they cost less and have smaller portions. I think the Oishi Teriyaki which combines a variety of vegetables, meat and shrimp is the best. I come here every couple weeks to get a change in my meals. The service is really good, and they offer a nice frequent buyer program that after 4 meals gets you a free appetizer. I'd highly recommend this place.

Ive had the food here a couple of times already. I would have kept coming back but today I decided to stay so I ordered raw sushi. I really wanted to like this place because their food is better than most places around the area but when I ordered raw sushi today, I didn’t like that I thought I saw something on my order. When I said something about it, the waitress was trying to insist it’s nothing when it was clearly something. She then called her manager (i think it was a manager), they took the plate and waitress told me they will change it. Not even 2 minutes later; they bring the plate back to me. They never changed that piece of raw sushi that I had a complaint about but rather they just took off whatever i saw on the sushi and brought the plate back to me. also there were no apologies from either waitress or manager. I won’t be eating here again. I really wanted to like it but when they brought the SAME raw sushi back to me, I thought oh it should be fine. I can eat around it i guess. But then I realized this is ridiculous because I shouldn’t have to do that and especially because they said they were changing that one piece of sushi but didn’t. I won’t be eating here again.

I had written almost the entire review, and then decided to switch from four stars to five. I do have some minor notes, but I decided some of these (such with the pork belly buns) could be a matter of taste. Further, the sushi was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. I had the opportunity to try: - Pork Belly Buns - Crab Rangoons - Unagi Maki - Firecracker Maki Pork Belly Buns - didn't really do it for me. Perhaps I have become picky with such things, and am seeking out some kind of 'perfection' which I had in a restaurant that has since changed the recipe. On the positive side the pork was cooked very nicely and was rather tender. However, on the flip side, I found it bland - there were some savory notes, though they were muted. The sauce was very mild in flavor and resembled a lightly sweetened gravy. Further, the sauce on the side an already on the buns appeared very similar, if not the same thing. The cucumber was a nice touch, though I would have preferred a little more, and the sauce overtook a bit. I should mention I ended up sending this one back - asking for the Crab Rangoons instead. They were able to switch this for me, thank you very much :) I'd also like to mention that they state this item is very popular, so this might just be me being nitpicky, maybe. Crab Rangoons - were solid. They were piping hot and fresh straight from the fryer! They were cooked perfectly and of a very decent size. My critique with these is the filling was a little unidimensional. The only flavors I was able to pick up on was sweetened cream cheese. I want to say I would have preferred it be a little more 'crabby'. However, having made rangoons myself, I can tell you crab sticks are not tremendously flavorful on their own. It is about what's added to the filling itself. Unagi Maki - was great! It was well-balanced in eel to cucumber to avocado. The sauce wasn't overdone, and the rice was high quality. As much as I love creative rolls, sometimes simplicity just works. Firecracker - was excellent! There was a very generous amount of top-quality fish. Like with the unagi, the rice was high quality. The sauce was not at all overpowering, and the tempura gave a light, pleasant crunch. My only note here is that I didn't find this roll spicy. Usually jalapeno is enough to trigger a feeling of heat. This could be the nature of the roll, or the nature of my tongue... likely a combination of both. The service was polite and fast. However, where the tables were behind the partition they are hidden from view. Though, it only took peeking from out of it to get the server's attention.

Read the review by Tyler Joseph about “blended fish”. I couldn’t put my finger on why the spicy tuna roll had a weird consistency, but after reading Tyler’s review, I understand what I was eating. It tasted weird and the texture was off putting, not to mention the roll was small. The spicy mayo was strange, too. No cocktails, which was fine, but if you like an orange slice with a Blue Moon, bring your own. We will not return to the subpar offerings here. The value is not there and service was mediocre.

We ordered vegetarian ramen, and it turned out to be not-so-good. I'm definitely used to more spice, but even then the taste was a little on the bland
