Lets start by saying that the girl at the register was disrespectful, the service was very slow, I wen to get a to go, they passed 3 guest in front of me, two girls was in the back talking and not paying attention on the line that was forming in front of her eyes, I had to wait almost 30 min to be served. Never coming back

Lugar managed to surpass Oliveira’s in East Boston as the worst Brazilian restaurant in Boston. People talking super loud. When entering, you have to choose to pass between the tables or between the chairs at the bar. Time to pay a bunch of classless people cutting the line (and they weren't Brazilians). I was shocked.

Hesitated to go to the Shrewsbury location due to bad reviews. It was good though. 3 stars because I rarely give 4 stars and much more rare to give 5 stars. Not Fogo de Chao good but at $12 a pound for lunch, this is a sustainable price point. Definitely will go back. We went on a Thursday at around noon. It got busier at 1pm. The food was good. The tri tip was a bit salty but with rice, it was okay. The sausages were good and so was the sirloin. Got the potato salad, rice, salsa, and sweet banana off the buffet. We both had about a pound of food and was full.

Have been a customer of this restaurant for years since they were still on Belmont St. Today was the first time I got charged $16/lb for a mix of buffet and barbecue because the waitress thought I took more food from the barbecue than the buffet table. Alright, $10 will not make you rich, nor make me poor. But it's still a pity to see this place is going down.

This a they are thieves a plate of food rice beans guacamole and shredded meat they said it was 3 pounds of food it is a deceptive place I do not recommend it the empty plate 97 ounces according to them the system removes the weight from the plate they wanted to deceive me that my food weighed 3

So my husband and I decided to stop here for a late lunch, we go in and the hostess while kind mannered appeared to be annoyed that we didn't know where to go, she explained it was self service and by the pound, wonderful concept exceptThe food looked like something out of a jailhouse cafeteria, the mashed potatoes were not fluffy the food was not even hot at all... The fish fell apart from too much oil and I'm sorry but spending 54.00 for 2 people for lukewarm food and pink chicken that looked undercooked and a weigher who I'm sorry but you do not treat first timers with a attitude because I don't know your procedures, we paid for the food first as I am customed to making sure you pay before you eat.I called my bank right after to put in a charge back this was not ? quality service nor was this an experience we ever had, first and last time we ever visit this place. Give us back our money and if you dispute this with our bank we will fight it, rudest staff and ice cold food... My next call should be to the department of health, but I rather just take our 54.00 +tip and never see this place again!
