Went to the Golden Jalapeno for the first time recently. Shrimp tacos were delicious. Everything was so fresh. Owner and staff are extremely attentive and welcoming. I loved it and will be back.

Just.. wow!! This place deserves way more than five stars!! The staff is so friendly and the food is amazing. Can't wait to see the updates in the restaurant this spring! Thank you for remaining open during your upgrade! My 17 month old loves your tacos!!Kid-friendliness: My 17 month old won't eat my tacos when I cook them at home but she gobbled up the ones from Golden Jalapeno Tex Mex!

Although I live on Cape Cod, I'm from the West Coast and appreciate Mexican food. One meal here was more than enough, a supposedly spicy shrimp wrap that was at least 90% shredded ice berg lettuce.

The food is absolutely fantastic great range of choices. The Tex Mex and house recipes are fantastic. Service is excellent. Management goes above and beyond to be sure that your time there is well spent and enjoyable. We have added this to our list of favorite restaurants both for dine in and carry out.

We had a great lunch at Golden Jalapeno. The staff was extremely friend and the food & drinks were delicious. The quesadilla and enchiladas in particular were excellent. The owner told us that they'll be renovating the inside of the restaurant starting tomorrow and will be doing takeout only while it's under construction. I look forward to coming back once it's done!

Loved the prix fixe menu plus great drink.Kudos to the attentive service that made the experience even more enjoyable. Can’t wait to return for more taco perfection and flavorful moments!
Had an incredible time at the Golden Jalapeño! My tacos were an absolute delight--perfectly crafted and bursting with flavor. The jalapeño poppers were a highlight, adding a spicy kick to the experience. Kudos to the fantastic service as well! Already planning my next visit for more delicious moments. Highly recommend!

The food was quite good. For a new ish place on the cape I am Impressed with the consistent quality. We had a variety of food-needs (vegetarian teens, picky kiddos, Italian grandmother, stressed 40-something's) and we all found something to like. The ambiance was... fine. The lighting was a little bright or dark - I can't remember which one. But the wait staff was lovely. And the tres leches cake was unbelievable. My kids had eaten it before (when I made it) but had no idea because this was so much better than anything made in our house. Also. Order the nachos. And also eat the nachos. They are amazing.

I'd been hearing a lot about this new restaurant on Cape so I've been anxious to try it out. Great setting on the outside, but a little dull on the inside. I sat at the bar (no hooks for a lady's bag). The bartender was terrific - efficient and organized. But, the food was a disappointing. The chips came with two salsas, but neither tasted fresh or had much spice. The green was the better of the two. My burrito was dry and pretty tasteless - mostly rice. It came with a sauce and sour cream, but they didn't add much taste. It also came with a "side salad" which was really just the shredded lettuce and diced tomato and onion that usually goes in the burrito - that did help, but it wasn't a salad. I'm happy to see the place was full by the time I left. So, I expect my disappointment probably had more to do with my personal preferences. It wasn't bad.....just meh.

The service from the owner and his employees was excellent. They were friendly, accommodating, and fun. We loved the brisket burrito, chimichangas, and chips and salsa. The atmosphere is warm and happy inside. It's a great addition to the area.
